Third Graders Visit Rangers Ballpark in Arlington: Third graders at Austin Elementary have been studying baseball for the past couple of weeks. To close the unit, they went on a field trip to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington where they toured the dugout, press box, players' batting cages, and concluded the trip with lunch on the homerun porch. Jim Sundberg, former Rangers catcher and Hall of Famer, came and spoke to the students about his career, answered questions, and took time to take pictures with individual students.

The recycled material came from each classroom before being transferred to the outside recycling containers. Also, the money was donated to Austin Elementary.
