Tison teachers, students visit England: Both current and former Tison Middle School teachers and students had the opportunity to take a trip to England this past summer. Also, the group visited Stonehenge in June. Tison Middle School Students: Twenty-nine girls from Tison Middle School attended the “Expanding Your Horizons” conference Saturday at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth.
"Expanding Your Horizons” is a conference about both science and mathematics which nurture girls' interests and encourages them to consider careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.
The trip was sponsored by the Tison Junior Optimist Club.
Brook Chilcutt stormed the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and rode off with the "Reserve Grand Champion" for her Hampshire Breeding Sheep.
Brooke is an eighth grader at Tison Middle School and has been a Weatherford FFA member for the past six years. She has been raising Hampshire Breeding Sheep for the past two years.
Aaron Baker, WISD FFA Sponsor assists students with their show animals before all shows preparing the animal so it will be in great shape and bring home the gold.
This week the market sheep, goats, and steers will be showing and the market barrows will be in Houston during Spring Break.Houston Livestock Show

The 8th grade English teachers in conjunction with the librarian will hold an orientation meeting for parents at 6:30 p.m. We will talk about how to use the new online textbook, how to help students be more successful, and how to use the library's services. Presenters: Ms. Patterson, Mrs. Elliott, and Ms. Richardson.
