On May 16, the Ninth Grade Center hosted the Student Awards Assembly, and 186 students received awards such as Top 5%, A Honor Roll, A/B Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, Citizenship, Community Service, Leadership, Triple A Award, and Outstanding and Most Improved Student.

Dustin Adams was chosen by the students as Teacher of the Year. Emma Murphy and Isaac Ross were chosen as Mr. & Miss NGC 2011. Congratulations to all of the students and teachers for an outstanding year.

Weatherford Ninth Grade Center Participates in Cowtown 5K

Weatherford Ninth Grade Center students from the Footprints Running Club participated in the recent Cowtown 5K Feb. 27 in Fort Worth. The newly-formed running club gives students a place to meet new friends, learn how to train for long-distance races along with raising confidence.

2011-2012 Freshmen Orientation, Monday, January 31, 2011 6:30-8PM

All 8th graders and their parents/ guardians are invited to an informational evening regarding freshmen course requirements including a presentation about Advanced Placement (AP) courses and other high school requirements.

We will begin with a general meeting in the Ninth Grade Center Auditorium at 6:30 pm. A more detailed meeting regarding Pre-AP courses will immediately follow the general meeting in the auditorium. All students and parents are invited to stay and tour our campus to visit the various subject areas.
