The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Monday 08-23-10 and Tuesday 08-24-10.
Theft:
08-23-10, 400 Love St, a complainant reported that between 07-15-10 and 08-23-10 unknown suspect(s) had reported a TV from the residence without permission of the home owner.
08-23-10, 2200 Ft Worth Hwy, an employee of U-Haul reported that on 07-17-10 a known suspect had rented a U-Haul truck and failed to return the vehicle to U-Haul on the date it was due back to the company
08-23-10, 1400 Washington Dr, an employee of Ed Bell Construction reported that between 08-21-10 and 08-23-10 unknown suspect(s) had stolen approx 100 gallons of diesel fuel from the construction site located next to the Interstate 20 highway.
Assault:
The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Thursday 8-19-10 and Friday 08-20-10.
Criminal Mischief:
08-18-10, 1300 Randy Ln, a complainant reported that between 3:00am and 3:45am unknown suspect(s) had dumped paint in her driveway causing her a substantial inconvenience in cleaning up the paint.

Weatherford Police Officers responded to two car burglaries that occurred in the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Salado Dr. The victims advised that sometime between Monday, 08/16/2010, and Tuesday, 0817/2010, unknown person(s) made entry into their vehicles and stole several items to include chrome wheel tires and electronic equipment such as radios, subwoofers and amplifiers.
The Weatherford Police Department is encouraging anyone who may have information on this crime or saw anything suspicious in the area during this time to call the department (817) 598-4300 or Parker County Crimestoppers (817) 599-5555.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Wednesday 8-18-10 and Thursday 08-19-10.
Burglary of a Vehicle:
08-18-10, 100 E. 2nd St, a complainant reported that between 6:30pm and midnight unknown suspect(s) had entered into a vehicle without permission and stole a wallet and the face plate off of the in-dash stereo.
Criminal Mischief:
08-18-10, 1800 Rayna Dr, a complainant reported that between 08-11-10 and 08-18-10 unknown suspect(s) had damaged a sprinkler system by apparently cutting the wires on the sprinkler control box.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department on Tuesday 8-17-10.
Theft:
08-17-10, 200 I-20 West, a complainant reported that on 08-12-10 between 6:50pm and 7:30pm unknown suspect(s) had stolen several power tools from the bed of his pickup truck while it was parked at the business parking lot.
Burglary of a Vehicle:
08-17-10, 1500 Salado Trl, a complainant reported that between 4:00pm and 4:50pm unknown suspect(s) had entered into a vehicle without permission and stole the stereo, amplifier and speakers.
08-17-10, 1600 Salado Trl, a complainant reported that between 8pm 08-16-10 and 5am 08-17-10 unknown suspect(s) had entered into a vehicle without permission and stole a stereo amplifier and speakers.

Theft:
08-16-10, 1200 Grace St, a complainant reported that between 08-09-10 and 08-16-10 unknown suspect(s) had stolen the license plate from a motorcycle that was parked in the driveway.
Identity Theft:
08-16-10, 600 Bryan St, a complainant reported that after receiving a letter from a collection company she discovered that an unknown suspect had used her social security number to obtain a cellular telephone account without her permission.
Criminal Mischief:
08-13-10, 1400 Ft Worth, a complainant reported that between 08-07-10 and 08-10-10 unknown suspect(s) had damaged a locking mailbox by breaking the lock with an unknown object.
Arrest:
Weatherford Police Department plans to step up enforcement efforts during the upcoming Labor Day holiday period in an attempt to reduce the number of drunk drivers on the road as well as enforce seatbelt and speed limit compliance. Grant funding from the Texas Department of Transportation Traffic Safety Program will be utilized to fund officers’ overtime salaries for the additional enforcement beginning August 20, 2010 and running through September 6, 2010.

Theft:
08-13-10, 1800 S. Main St, an employee of Tractor Supply reported that between 10pm and 11pm unknown suspect(s) had stolen a riding lawnmower from the parking lot of the business.
08-15-10, 400 S. Bowie, a complainant reported that between 01-01-10 and 08-13-10 unknown persons had taken a Remington rifle from his residence without permission.
Criminal Mischief:
08-14-10, 1800 Laura St, a complainant reported that between 10pm 08-13-10 and 7am 08-14-10 unknown suspect(s) had damaged a water hose at his residence by cutting it into pieces with a sharp object.
Burglary of a Vehicle:
The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Thursday 08-12-10 and Friday 08-13-10.
Burglary of a Building:
08-12-10, 250 Eureka, Weather Roo Stadium, officers responded to a call that during the night someone entered the Roo Stadium Press Box and the Athletic building without permission. The actor(s) damaged numerous items which included computers, televisions, walls and other entertainment systems. The damage was over $1500.00 but less than $20,000.00. The actors also damaged numerous items on the outside and inside of the buildings.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Wednesday 08-11-10 and Thursday 08-12-10.
Burglary of a Vehicle:
08-12-10, 1400 Mineral Wells Hwy, at 3am Officers responded to a call of a vehicle burglary in progress reported by a witness. Officers arrived and contacted a female suspect inside of a vehicle located at A Associated Vehicle Sales. Upon contact with the business owner it was determined that the suspect did not have consent to enter into the vehicle and it was further learned that the suspect had removed a spare key from the vehicle without the owner consent. The suspect was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.
