The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Thursday 01-20-11 and Friday 01-21-11.

Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information:
01-20-11, 700 Santa Fe Dr, a complainant reported that she had discovered that that an unknown suspect in another city had used her social security number fraudulently to obtain student services through the state.

Criminal Mischief:
01-20-11, 1100 W. Bishop St, a complainant reported that at approx 11pm an unknown suspect had damaged a vehicle by apparently hitting the windshield with a rock.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Wednesday 01-19-11 and Thursday 01-20-11.

Robbery:
01-19-11, 1800 Santa Fe Dr, at approximately 6:30am, Weatherford Police Officers were dispatched to 1800 Santa Fe Drive (TJ'S Donuts) in reference to a robbery call. Upon arrival an employee reported an unknown white male suspect entered the business and placed an order for food. The victim reported that when the register was opened to make change, the suspect grabbed the register drawer and then fled from the store on foot.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Tuesday 01-18-11 and Wednesday 01-19-11.

Burglary of a Vehicle:
01-18-11, 100 Cartwright Park Rd, a complainant reported that between 3pm and 4pm while her vehicle was parked at the Trail Head parking lot, unknown suspect(s) entered into her vehicle without permission and stole a purse.

Criminal Mischief:
01-18-11, 1000 Vine St, a complainant reported that between 11am 01-17-11 and 6am 01-18-11 unknown suspect(s) damaged a vehicle by cutting three tires with a sharp object.

Forgery:
01-18-11, 400 Santa Fe Dr, an employee of Mr. C’s convenience store reported that an unknown suspect at an unknown time had passed counterfeit currency to the business for payment of merchandise.

Man held on charges of Injury to a Child

Tyler Wayne Whitaker, 20, of Weatherford was arrested and is being held on a $75,000 bond for Injury to a Child – Serious Bodily Injury.

On Sunday, Jan. 16, the Weatherford Police Department was notified by Cook Children’s Hospital of a three-month-old infant from Weatherford who had been admitted to their facility with suspicious injuries. Weatherford Police officers met with medical personnel and were advised that the injuries the infant sustained were not consistent with the story that the parents of the infant had given. They believed the injuries were a result of a “non-accidental” injury and suspected abuse.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Tuesday 01-11-11 and Wednesday 01-12-11.

Theft:
01-11-11, 1200 Holland Lake Dr, a complainant reported that on 01-10-11 between 2pm and 4pm unknown suspect(s) had stolen her wallet from her purse while it was unattended in a break room at her place of employment.

01-11-11, 100 E Bridge St, a complainant reported that between 01-07-11 and 01-11-11 unknown suspect(s) had stolen copper tubing out of two exterior AC units.

01-11-11, 2600 E. Bankhead Dr, an employee of Loves Truck Stop reported that at approx 3pm an unknown female suspect attempted to leave the store without paying for several DVD movies. The suspect was detained and later charged with theft by responding officers.

Theft From The Manna Storehouse

The Parker County Crime Stoppers has issued the following Crime of the Week and we need your help in solving this crime.

Sometime between Friday, 01/07/2011, and Tuesday, 01/11/2011, unknown person(s) went on to the property of the Manna Storehouse, Inc, located at the 100blk of E Bridge St, and removed the covers off of two exterior heat pump units and stole the internal copper and aluminum components. The complainant stated that the units were newly installed and that the approximate value to replace them was $15,000. To gain access to the heat pumps, the suspect(s) disassembled a chain link fence on the West side of the building.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Monday 01-10-11 and Tuesday 01-11-11.

Theft:
01-10-11, 2600 E. Bankhead Dr, an employee of Loves Truck Stop reported that at approx 9am an unknown male suspect entered into the business and selected four NASCAR jackets from a display and then fled the business without paying for them.

Credit Card Abuse:
01-10-11, 500 S. Rusk St, a complainant reported that unknown person(s) had used her credit card without permission for several withdraws in another city.

Burglary of a Vehicle:
01-10-11, 300 Adams Dr, a complainant reported that between 9pm and 11pm unknown suspect(s) had entered into a vehicle without permission and stole a cloth bag containing clothes and personal items.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Friday 01-07-11 and Monday 01-10-11.

Theft:
01-07-11, 1200 Holland Lake Dr, a complainant reported that between 11pm 01-06-11 and 3am 01-07-11 an unknown suspect had stolen a wallet from her purse while it was unattended in the lobby area at her place of employment.

01-07-11, 800 E. Park Ave, a complainant reported that between 10pm 01-06-11 and 6am 01-07-11 unknown suspect(s) had stolen a 5’x10’ utility trailer from an alley next to his residence.

01-08-11, 3600 Foot Hills Dr, a complainant reported that between 4pm 01-07-11 and 8am 01-08-11 unknown suspect(s) had stolen a concrete statue and a Christmas wreath from the front yard.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Thursday 01-06-11 and Friday 01-07-11.

Theft:
01-06-11, 200 Atwood Ct, a complainant reported that between 11pm 01-05-11 and 11am 01-07-11 unknown suspect(s) had stolen a 1987 Ford Pickup truck from the parking lot of the apartment complex.

Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information:
01-06-11, 800 W. Oak St, a complainant reported that he recently discovered that an unknown person had used his name without his permission to file a civil action in another city and county.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Monday 01-03-11 and Tuesday 01-04-11.

Criminal Mischief:
01-04-11, 1100 W. Water St, at approx 1am Officers were called to investigate a suspicious person call in the 1100blk of Water St. Upon arrival it was discovered that unknown person(s) had damaged an inflatable Christmas decoration by apparently cutting it with a sharp object. During the course of the investigation Officers located and detained two suspects who confessed to the cutting the decoration with a knife.
