On Wednesday 08-03-2011, Officer E. Warren met with Joel Mellish (w/m 69yoa) at the Weatherford Police Department. Mr. Mellish reported that an unknown person had stolen his Chase checking account number and fabricated checks using his information. Mr. Mellish reported that between 07-03-2011 and 07-08-2011, there were several of the fabricated checks used to make purchases. An offense report was taken for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information,
On Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at 0752hrs, I, Ofc S. Chalmers 61, was dispatched to the Outback building located at 2121 Bethel Rd in Weatherford, Texas, in reference to an act of criminal mischief.When I arrived on scene, I made contact with the reporting party, WISD representative, Grant Priess (w/m 51yoa). The reporting party advised that sometime between 1800hrs on August 1, 2011, and 0734hrs on August 2, 2011, unknown person(s) damaged two windows and broke out two other windows using a landscape brick on the west side of the Outback building. I was told that windows are located on the west side and north end of the building in the entrance vestibule. I walked to the area and observed that two windows were shattered and no longer in the frames.
On Monday, 07/25/2011, just before midnight, an unidentified male broke the front door glass of the AMT FoodMart located at 802 Palo Pinto St, however, did not enter the store at that time. A few hours later (early Tuesday morning, 07/26/2011), an unidentified male broke a second glass door to the store, made entry and stole cartons of cigarettes.
Investigators were able to pull up video of the burglary Tuesday morning and found what they believe to be one or possibly two suspects involved. Attached are photographs of the burglary.
On August 1, 2011 I, Ofc. T. Bramow 78 was dispatched to 224 Santa Fe Dr in reference to a criminal mischief that had occurred. Upon arrival I made contact with Dr Gregory Tankersley (wm 54 yoa) who advised me that upon his arrival this morning he noticed that his roof had been damaged. He did not notice any damage to anything else on the inside or outside of the building. He later noticed that the attic entrance door was ajar and was not like this before. I then cleared the attic and was able to locate foot prints on the floor and areas where the insulation had been cleaned off air condition units. Tankersley advised me that he did want to prosecute. A report for burglary of a building was taken.
On 7-29-11 at approximately 1045 hours I, Officer D.L. Morton # 72, made a traffic stop 300 N Brazos with a light blue Lincoln Towncar. A w/f passenger who identified herself as Valerie Marie Presa was arrested for a Weatherford Warrant for Open Container Alcoholic Beverage Passenger
On July 30, 2011 at approximately 1146 hours Officer Stagner was dispatched to a possible drunk driver. Dispatch advised the vehicle would be a white 2005 Chevy Avalanche. Dispatch advised the driver was reported to drive to the First Financial Bank, located at 101 College Park Ave, exit the vehicle and enter the bank. Officer Stagner located the suspect matching description of the driver and identified him as Ramon Gomez (w/m 42 y/o). Officer Stagner observed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on Gomez' breath. An intoxication investigation was completed. Gomez was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication and transported to the Parker County Jail. Gomez was intoxicated in a public place and a danger to himself and others.
On this date, at about 0656 hours, John Hackett of 1230 W. Water called and reported that an unknown red substance was on his wife's 2011 Ford Fusion car that was parked in the car port. The incident occured sometime the previous night. A Criminal Mischief Report for Substantial Inconvenience was completed by Officer T. Johnson.
On 07-31-11 at about 1048 hours, I (Officer T. Johnson 319) was dispatched to 1439 W. Water St to meet with Bridget Daniel who wanted to report that her safes had been stolen that morning, and a large amount of cash and credit cards were in the safes. A Theft report was completed.
On Thursday 07-28-2011 at 1500hrs Officer E. Warren met with Gary Lemottee at the Weatherford Police Department in reference to unauthorized charges to his debit card. Mr. Lemottee indicated that his debit card was used twice on 07-01-2011, while he was out of town, at 102 Santa Fe Dr., without his consent. An offense report for Debit/Credit card abuse was taken.
On Thursday, July 28, 2011 I was dispatched to meet complainant Lisa Kay Westbrook in reference to having been assaulted by a person known to her at 1802 Santa Fe Dr., Weatherford, Parker County, Texas. Westbrook told me that the assault caused her pain. An assault causes bodily injury report was made for this incident.
On Saturday, July 23, 2011 I, Ofc. D. Feare #59, was dispatched to 401 N Boundry St., Weatherford, Parker County, Texas in reference to egg thrown on a house. When I arrived I met with complainant Mary Lisa Ellis, who is a resident there, and who told me that egg had been thrown on a truck there as well, and that a note had been left at the house referencing these and another incident. Ellis told me these events began on Monday, July 18, 2011 at about 08:00, are being done by a person(s) not known to her, and with intent to harass, annoy, alarm, torment, or abuse her. A harassment report was made.
07-25-11 reporting officer (Hansen) met with complainant Rama Brown who advised that some unknown suspect had tried to open credit in her name. The suspect appeared to be in Florida. The credit was denied and there was no monetary loss. The attempt was found with a credit check from AAA. No further information.
Officer E. Warren spoke with Philip Lee Brooks in the lobby of the Weatherford Police Department, in reference to a theft. Mr. Brooks indicated that an unknown person used his debit card number, without his consent, to make four purchases in Pennsylvania, between Saturday 07-23-2011 and Sunday 07-24-2011. A report for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information was taken.
