 <title>United Way 2008 Kick-off Party</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;The Parker County United Way will have its 2008 kick-off party 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12 at Bearcat Stadium before the Aledo-Weatherford football game. For a small donation, names will be entered into a prize drawing for several items. Megaphones will be available for a small donation. There will be orange for the Aledo side and blue and white for the Weatherford side. The side with the most donations will win the &quot;Team United&quot; trophy. All winners will be announced at half time.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Parker County Appraisal District told them not to worry.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Jessie is returning home</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;After spending more than a month in Baltimore, Md., enduring surgery that removed half of her brain, six-year-old Jessie Hall of Aledo is finally heading “home.”&lt;br /&gt;
Overcoming fevers that have popped up during her stay at Kennedy Krieger Institute for rehabilitation, doctors released Jessie on Thursday, July 17. The Hall family is scheduled to fly home today (Friday, July 18) where they will check into Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth to continue Jessie’s inpatient therapy.&lt;/p&gt;
