Denim and Diamonds benefiting Project Celebration 2015 will be from 6:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center, 1400 Texas Drive in Weatherford. Events include a VIP Reception at 6:30 p.m., cash bar, silent auction, diamond dig and ballroom grab at 7 p.m., and dinner by Joe T. Garcia’s Restaurant at 8 p.m. in addition to live entertainment and dancing. Attire is gems and jeans. Proceeds from the Denim and Diamonds Gala will fund Project Celebration for the Aledo High School Class of 2015 seniors. VIP tickets are $75 per seat or $575 for a VIP table of 8. The Class of 2015 will have a Project Celebration meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29 at the Daniel Ninth Grade Center.
