Spirit Day will be Friday, Nov. 9 at Aledo Middle School. Students and staff can show off their school spirit by dressing in orange and black.

A Presentation of the Fort Worth Symphony will be on Friday, Nov. 9 at the Aledo High School. Aledo Middle School seventh graders will leave the campus at 12:30 and will return at 2 p.m. to the middle school.
The 5th annual Aledo Middle School Student Council Trunk-or-Treat will be at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26 at the Aledo High School stadium parking lot B before the varsity football game. Participation is for children 10 years and younger and is free of charge.

Art from Aledo Middle School students will be a part of the Doss Heritage and Culture Center’s display of University Interscholastic League competition art May 1-25. Included in the competition are middle schools from Weatherford, Granbury, Aledo, Acton, Stephenville, Joshua and White Settlement. An awards ceremony will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11 at 10 a.m. Student artists compete in 18 different categories with two pieces per grade per school in each category.

The Aledo Middle School Spelling Bee will take place from 8:40 to 10:10 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Aledo Middle School.
The Aledo Middle School Whiz Quiz will compete at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in the Middle School Bearcat Den against Brewer.
The Aledo Middle School Whiz Quiz will compete at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in the Middle School Bearcat Den against Marsh Middle School.
