The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Craft Fair will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road in Weatherford. The annual Parker County Juvenile Diabetes Walk will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 at Town Creek Trail in Weatherford. Registration begins at 3 p.m. at the First Monday Grounds. Parker County American Legion Post #163 will host a Veterans Day parade at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12. The theme of the parade is “Veterans - Are Our Freedom.” Members of the community are invited to participate in the parade with a float. A float entry form can be downloaded at www.community-news.com. The parade will start at the Weatherford Ninth Grade Center off of South Main Street. Kevin Townson and his Latin jazz band
The historic Weatherford Chandor Gardens will host the first annual Sunset Picnic Concert on October 16 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The event will feature local flamenco/classical guitarist Kevin Townson and his Latin jazz band.
Townson, who directs the Childbloom Guitar Program, has been a professional musician for almost 30 years and has spent most of his life performing throughout North Texas.
Chandor Gardens is located in the historical district in downtown Weatherford at 711 W. Lee Avenue.

The eighth annual “Talking Tombstones Tour” will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Old City Greenwood Cemetery, 300 Front Street in Weatherford. Tours leave every 15 minutes until the last tour at 3 p.m. This year’s tour examines the impact of the War Between the States in Weatherford and outside Weatherford: "Small Town Civility: Weatherford, Texas in 1861 - 1865."
Aledo Friends of NRA will hold a dinner and auction at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Clear Fork Station in Willow Park. Dinner tickets begin at $30 for adults and $20 for children. The Brewer High School Class of 1971 will hold their 40th Reunion Celebration the weekend of Brewer's Homecoming, Oct. 14 and 15. The class will meet for dinner at Spring Creek Barbecue on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m., on Camp Bowie W. at Las Vegas Trail followed by the Brewer Exes’ Social at Lost Creek Golf Club, where Class of '71 will have designated tables.
