Aledo 4-H Club
Culpepper and Merriweather Circus, the first circus to visit Aledo, will hold two shows at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 in Bearcat Park.
Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 2-12. Tickets are available at Aledo City Hall, the East Parker County Library, the East Parker County Chamber of Commerce and the 4-H Administration Building. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $12 for adults and $7 for children. Proceeds from the event support Aledo 4-H.
Circus events include high wire stunts and animal acts with lions, tigers, bird and dogs. Games, a bouncy house and pony rides are also available. For more information, call Aledo City Hall at 817-441-7016.
The Aledo 4-H Club will meet on Monday, May 13 at Faith Presbyterian Church. The Clover meeting is at 5:45 p.m., officer meeting at 6:30 p.m. and 4-H meeting at 7 p.m. 4-H is for youth ages 8- 18 and offers projects including livestock, dogs, clothing, food and nutrition, consumer decision making, livestock judging, photography and horticulture. Through 4-H, young people develop leadership skills and participate in community service projects.

The Aledo 4H Club will hold a garage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Aledo Community Center. Proceeds will benefit Aledo 4-H and local charities.
