Go Greek event

The Parker County Panhellenic Group will host the 13th annual Go Greek event at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 14 at Jerry's Chevrolet Dealership, 3811 Fort Worth Hwy in Hudson Oaks. The event is for high school senior girls and/or their mothers to provide information about college sororities and assistance for going through college sorority recruitment.

There is no charge to attend and there will be drawings for a $200 Greek Scholarship and a Vera Bradley matching tote and ID case provided by Forté in Aledo. The first 60 girls will also receive a Vera Bradley zip ID case provided by Forte. For more information, call Jo-Alice Davis at 817-271-1847.

High School Senior girls and/or their mothers are invited to attend an informational meeting about college sororities and going through recruitment at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 15 in the Jerry’s Chevrolet Board Room. Sorority life can offer leadership and community service opportunities, scholarships, study assistance and motivation as well as provide a built in family while attending college and lifelong sisterhood.
