Junior Emily Ickert of the Willow Park Trinity Christian Lady Eagles was named the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools District 1-4A Co-Offensive MVP and first team all-district in a vote by the league’s coaches. Her sister, freshman Alex Ickert, was named Newcomer of the Year and second team all-district.
Emily was also named second team TAPPS Class 4A All-State.
Second team all-district honors also went to seniors Ella Cockrum and Avery Tiwater. Sophomore Raegan Smith is an honorable mention.
From the TCA boys, seniors Sam Carson, John Chrane and Cole Massey were selected first team all-district. Senior Jonathan Overholt and Reed Robbins were named to the second team, while honorable mentions went to seniors Bo Blauser and Scott Wesley Smith.
Chrane and Massey are all-state honorable mentions.
Academic all-state honors were earned by:
Girls — Tiwater, Cockrum, and E. Ickert.
Boys — Carson, Massey, and Overholt.
