Stepping Up

Posted

An important school board election is coming soon. Please take time from your busy schedule to vote and reelect Forrest Collins to this key position.

We were privileged to join the Bearcat teaching staff in 1986 and had the honor of serving many wonderful students, families, and staff during our 30 plus years of service before retiring.

As you experience daily, the Aledo schools and community are growing quickly. Bearcat tradition includes exemplary service to students, incredible parent involvement, and community pride. What makes this school community such a special place for families does not happen by accident, it is the result of careful planning, leadership, commitment, and the hard work of all involved.

Forrest joined the School Board in 2016 and has consistently stepped up for all kids. He is an outstanding communicator and seeks feedback from all stakeholders and is always willing to listen. More importantly, you can count on him to follow through as he maintains his focus on providing exceptional learning opportunities for all programs and students. He doesn’t just talk, he takes action, we have seen this time and again. Forrest regularly attends academic, fine arts, CTE, extra-curricular, and athletic events at all levels and truly works to understand the critical attributes of all programs.

Please honor Forrest Collins with another term of service so he may continue to ensure Aledo ISD achieves Greatness Together. He is a caring family man of integrity.

Respectfully,
Lynn and Randal McKinney
Retired Aledo ISD Educators
