The league champion Aledo Racquet Cats dominated the All-District 5-5A honors as selected by the coaches recently.
Receiving accolades from Aledo are:
Boys MVP: Jacob Heckathorn.
Girls Co-MVP: Elli Kate Bussmeir and Lila Satterfield.
Boys Newcomer of the Year: Ben Kurth.
Girls Newcomer of the Year: McKinley Hayes.
Coach of the Year: Joe McCoy.
Boys doubles: Line 1, Heckathorn/Francois Britz, first team; Line 2, Kurth/Casen Freeland, second team; Line 3, Noah Nottingham/Tom Ruminsky, second team.
Girls doubles: Line 1, Bussmeir/Bryanna Orr, first team; Line 2, Hayes/Satterfield, first team; Line 3, Eleanor Jack/Patrice Loftin, first team.
Mixed doubles: Paxton Psencik/Natalie Nawrocki, second team.
Boys singles: Line 1, Heckathorn, first team; Line 2, Kurth, second team; Line 3, Ruminsky, honorable mention; Line 4, Britz, first team; Line 5, Freeland, second team; Line 6, Psencik, second team.

“We had a great season as you can see from all the individual awards received. Our group was resilient, determined, and eager to improve each and every day,” McCoy said. “We made great strides throughout the season, finishing as district champions and making it to the third round of the playoffs.
“Thank you for all the support we’ve received from the community, our administration, and especially the parents. We are so blessed to have all of you on our side. I am so proud of all of our players and look forward to the spring season.”
