Larry Dingler

Larry Dingler of North Richland Hills passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Larry was born to Doyle and Ruby Dingler on January 5, 1946, in Kirby, Arkansas. His family relocated to Itasca, Texas. where he excelled in sports and mischief. He proudly worked and retired from General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin after 29 years.

In his earlier years Larry served as a vital member of Weatherford Pee Wee football and Little League baseball/softball, acting as a board member, coach, and umpire. He enjoyed being a member of Willow Park Baptist Church and spending time with his dogs, Buster and Zoe, in the front yard while visiting with neighbors.

Larry was an outdoorsman and he loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He spent many summers on Lake Granbury where he also taught numerous teens how to water ski. In his later years he focused on playing Texas Holdem’ Poker and gained much respect from other players in his weekly league games.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Dingler Williams and wife, Jennifer;  granddaughter, Andrea Williams with great-grandsons, Cason and Bear; and granddaughter Brittany Williams Prebeg and husband Scott, with great-granddaughters, Madelyn and Ellie.

Larry enjoyed his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and would often give them rides on his scooter.

The family plans to hold a private memorial.
