Grace House presents fun fundraiser

Posted

Fine food, laughter, and music were keynotes of the Grace House Ministry’s annual fundraiser banquet April 10. The event, “Better Together,” was held at Willow Park Baptist Church.

The banquet packed the lobby of the church where supporters ate, mingled, and cast bids on silent auction items. The event later moved into the church’s sanctuary for entertainment, laughter, and information about Grace House goals.

Jo Warren, Grace House communication relations coordinator, welcomed supporters and recognized board members past and present, volunteers and members of other non-profits in attendance. Applause was also given for members of the armed services in the audience.

“Tonight is a night to say ‘Thank you.” We just can’t thank you enough,” Warren said.

Ventriloquist Gloria Gilbert-Barron entertained the gathering with her puppet partner, Bubba, as the duo cracked jokes, sang, and involved the audience.

Grace House Ministry was founded to promote, educate, and offer alternatives to abortion. Learn more about the organization’s goals at www.ghmtx.com or contact Grace House by email at info@ghmtx.com or call 817-599-9080.
