AHS foes changed after biennium realignment

In the poker game, known as Texas Hold ‘Em, the dealer’s deck is re-shuffled after every individual hand.
For Aledo High School athletes, the bi-annual University Interscholastic League’s process of realigning its member schools into enrollment districts remains a process of constant change.
AHS has been moved to District 6-4A with a new cast of characters – save one school from before. Aledo will be joined by Mineral Wells (the lone holdover from 8-4A), to former district foes, Springtown and Fort Worth Brewer (located in White Settlement), plus Azle, North Richland Hills Birdville and Saginaw Boswell.
