Parker Paws will host a Bark-B-Q and adopt-a-thon from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, at the Firestone store in Weatherford. Stop by, have lunch and meet adoptable dogs. One hundred percent of donations go to Parker Paws to help pets in our foster program. The Firestone store is located on Main Street in Weatherford. For directions, call 817-599-6466.

Parker Paws will have a tent at the Hudson Oak Annual National Police Week open house event from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on May 14. Refreshments will be provided. There will be a jump house, events for kids and tours of the facility and vehicles.

Parker Paws will have a tent at the Parker County Cruisers Big Blooming Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at the First Monday Grounds. Meet adoptable dogs and check out the cars. Take exit 409 Santa Fe/Clear Lake and go north about 2 miles. Spectators may enter for free.

Parker Paws will host a Cinco de Mayo Yappy Hour fundraiser from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m on Sunday, May 5. Bring your dog for a fun-filled afternoon on the patio at Fish Creek Restaurant with drink and appetizer specials. Don't have a dog? Come anyway. Adoptable dogs will be at the event. Ten percent of purchases will be donated to Parker Paws to help support our foster program. Fish Creek is located at exit 418 on the I-20 West bound Service Road in Willow Park. The Parker Paws fundraiser garage sale will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6, on Guinevere Drive in the Briarwood addition on Santa Fe Drive across from Granny's Kitchen. Gently used items from multiple families will be available. All proceeds benefit pets in the Parker Paws foster program.

Belk's Girls Nite Out will be from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, at Belk in Weatherford. There will be refreshments, a DJ, a fashion show, and numerous drawing baskets. Parker Paws will be there selling tickets for the Belk Charity Sale on April 27 for $5.

Kincaid's Dining to Donate fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, will benefit Parker Paws. Ten percent of purchases, dine in or carryout, will be donated to Parker Paws. Adoptable dogs will be on the patio from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Kincaid's is located at I-20 exit 408 in Weatherford on the access road.
