Arrest made in 'Grinch' case

Parker County Sheriff’s office Investigators positively identified Dana Brock, age 43, as the person responsible for stealing Christmas decorations from the Aledo area. She was arrested at her residence located in the 100 block of Rim Rock after the sheriff’s office received several tips regarding the person responsible for the thefts.

Sheriff’s Investigators were able to locate Brock at her home early Wednesday morning and were able to recover several of the stolen Christmas decorations. Brock implicated herself in the theft and a warrant for theft was issued for her. She was arrested and booked into the Parker County Jail pending arraignment. Investigators also recovered stolen property not related to these thefts. Sheriff Larry Fowler said “Going onto someone's property at 3 a.m. could have serious consequences and the outcome could be deadly.”
