Mary Sue Dolbin Lyons

She was preceded in death by James Calvin Lyons, the father of her children; James Robert Lyons (wife Sandra), Luther Alan Lyons, and Dallas Sue Lyons. Surviving grandchildren are Lisa Lyons Daugherty (husband Daren), James Robert Lyons II (wife Brandi), Christopher Lee Lyons (partner Kyle), and Reesa Caitlin Lyons-Baker (fiance Jon). She is also survived by her much loved great grandchildren Whitney Diane Earley (husband Jake), Brooke Nicole Daugherty, Jami Rene Lyons, Christopher Calvin Lyons, Brandon Wayne Lyons and Shelbi Moorehead, along with numerous relatives in the Dallas area.

Royce was born on May 27, 1944 in Mineral Wells. He served in the Air Force reserves. He was a life-long resident of Mineral Wells.Along with his Dad, Royce built and operated the Dairy Mart until it was sold in 1970. He was co-publisher and editor of the Mineral Wells Reporter until it was sold to the Mineral Wells Index.Royce was a reporter for the Mineral Wells Index and a contributing reporter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for several years after selling the MW Reporter.

Royce is preceded in death by his parents, J. C. and Louise Purefoy.

Royce is survived by his brother, George Purefoy and wife, Debra; niece, Christal; all of Frisco, Texas; his aunt, Oneida Crounse of Mineral Wells; his uncle and aunt, Walter and Margaret Sears of Mount Vernon, Texas.

C.W. "William" Ward

C.W. was born Sept. 16, 1928, in Springtown to Clarence L. and Iola
Williams Ward. He was a lifelong resident of Springtown. C.W. was a
home-spun humorist, affectionately known as "Poppy." He was the original owner of Ward Welding and Supply. He was one of the first members of the Springtown Fire Department.

C.W. was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Hazel.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Judy Phillips of Fort Worth and Patti Smith and
husband Steve of Kennedale; son, David Ward of Springtown; grandchildren, Michelle, Jacquelyn, Brett, Kelsey and Derek; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Jean Vowell Fox

Dorothy Jean Vowell Fox was born on September 21, 1931 in Weatherford, Texas. Her childhood friends called her “Dorothy,” but after graduating high school as Valedictorian began using her middle name, “Jeanne.” She earned her Associate’s Degree at Weatherford Junior College and went on to varied careers as seamstress, secretary, and homemaker. Jeanne is most widely known as the head bookkeeper/front office manager of the Weatherford Democrat newspaper from 1972 to 1992.

Zane Mitchell Lynch

ane was born in Fort Worth on June 18, 1971 to Jerry Lawrence and Elaine Will Lynch. He had been employed as customer service manager at Albertson's in Lake Worth, Weatherford, Saginaw, Cherry Lane and Azle area. Zane was preceded in death by his father; brother, Terry Carter; and his grandparents.

Survivors: Mother, Elaine Lynch of Azle; uncles, Joe and Robert Lynch and their familes; two nieces in Okla.; and many friends and acquaintances.

James Willie Greene, Jr.

James Willie Greene, Jr. was born on December 24, 1938 at Pointe Pleasant, Town of Plaquemine, Parish of Iberville, Louisiana to Reverend James Willie and Julia Mitchell Greene, Sr. Jim accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 12 and was baptized in the Mississippi River by his father. As a testimony to God's grace and mercy, Jim remained active in the Church through stewardship, evangelism and bible study. Jim's life is a reflection of his love for Christ, family and his fellow man.

Foley Burtnett

David Foley Burtnett was born June 19, 1955, in Fort Worth, the fourth of six children to Robert L. and Ethel May Broaddus Burtnett. He was a member of the Springtown High School class of 1973. Foley married the former Sharon Caroline Clugston in Springtown on Feb. 22, 1997, and they began their life together.

Foley loved hot rods and engines and could build or fix anything. He was a great person and had no enemies. Foley was a very patient and kind person and in the words of Sharon, "He was perfect."

Foley was a faithful member of Hilltop Family Church.

Foley was preceded in death by his father, Robert Louis Burtnett, and grandmother, Ethel May Broaddus.

Roy Neely

Roy was born August 7, 1959 to John Luther and Dorothy Vernell Webb Neely in Fort Worth. He graduated from Diamond Hill Jarvis High School in 1977. Roy was a former employee of Winn-Dixie and was a Deputy Constable in Precinct 3 of Henderson County.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Vernell Neely and two sisters, Sheila Faith Neely and Dorothy Shouse.

Survivors: Father, John Neely and wife, Sibyl, of Colleyville; sister, Katrina Jones, of Newark; brothers, Lloyd Neely, of Chandler, Floyd Neely, of Newark and Perry Neely and wife, Kathy, of North Richland Hills; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and loving friends.

Gerard Nelson Moshier

Gerard was born June 3, 1943 in Saratoga Springs, NY. to Isaac and Elizabeth Gaylord Moshier. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Gerard was very involved with his church and an avid NASCAR fan. He dearly loved his family and his animals. Gerard honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War era. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Margaret Baker Dobbs

Margaret was born in Peden to Samuel Roscoe and Maude Klein Baker November 20, 1916. She was a longtime resident of Parker County. Margaret was dearly loved by her daughter and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors: Daughter, Julia Aggas of Weatherford; grandchildren, Krystal, Kammie of Weatherford and James Dalton of Utah; also numerous friends and acquaintances.
