Dorothy Hollingsworth
Dorothy was born to Fred and Maude Noyce Wortman February 17, 1928 in Newark, N.J. She was a longtime resident of Azle having moved to the Humble area in the last two years to be near her daughter. Dorothy was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Bill" Hollingsworth; stepson, Donny Hollingsworth; and brother, George Wortman.

Survivors: daughter, Susan Emmons and husband, Jimmy of Humble; stepsons, Gene Hollingsworth and wife, Barbara of Fort Worth, Jerry Hollingsworth and wife, Jo Ann of Reno; grandchildren, Travis Worthen, Deanna Williams, Mike Hollingsworth, Robin Minter, Shelli

James Ralph Loyd

Ralph was born September 20, 1935 in Hughes Springs to Edgar and Myrtle Smith Loyd. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Ralph enjoyed his family, the outdoors and being with his friends at the coffee shop. He also liked to feed the wildlife around his home.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; a son; four brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors: wife of 52 years, Betty Loyd of Azle; daughter, Andrea Van Kleeck of Azle; grandchildren, Bethany Rogers and husband, Brad of Fort Worth, Justin, Lacey and Ethan; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Sibyl M. Thomas
Sibyl was born October 4, 1919 to Jack Meazell and Zelma Boughton Meazell in Sulphur Springs.
She married Dee Lee Thomas on June 5, 1939, in Love County, Oklahoma. After Dee Lee went to Europe in 1942, Sibyl went to work as an electrical assembler at North American Aircraft building B-24 bombers for the war effort. She became one of the first female supervisors at North American. After the war, she and Dee Lee moved to East Texas, where he was a school administrator at Gaston, then west Rusk County schools.

Cecil Carr was born October 26, 1923 in Eastland, Texas to Ernest and Effie Carr. Mr. Carr was a member of North Main Church of Christ, a retired farmer and a former salesman for Carter Ivy Hardware. He is preceded in death by his daughters, Janice Ellis and Joyce Sosebee.

Survivors: Wife, Alice Carr, son, Jeff Carr, sisters, Lorene Jenkins and Irene Jennings, three grandchildren, Jacob Ellis, Briana Reagan and Devon Sosebee, three great grandchildren, Kegan, Kaden and Kaylee.

Bobby Dale Finchum

Bobby was born October 31, 1943 in Childress to William S. Finchum and Mildred H. Russell. He was a long time resident of the Azle area. Bobby's greatest enjoyment came from his car lot and his family.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and two brothers.

SURVIVORS: spouse, Jackie Finchum of Cleburne; daughter, Lana Cobb and husband, Jason of Springtown; son, Jason Finchum and wife, Jennifer of Springtown; brother, Kenneth and wife, Teresa of CO; sister, Patsy Jouett
of Childress; eight granddaughters; one grandson.

Lillyanne was born September 16, 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas to Laura Renee Lemmings and Tommy Joe White. Our precious angel, Lilly is gone but never forgotten. She is now in the arms of the angels.

Lilly was preceded in death by her grandmother, Melanie Sue Lemmings.

Jimmie was born November 3, 1926 in Azle the youngest child of Atlas and Beatrice Gipson Carter. He made his profession of faith as a young boy at Ash Creek Baptist Church in Azle. Jimmie graduated from Azle High School and honorably served his country in the Merchant Marines during World War II, traveling to many places. He enjoyed living at his lake front property on Lake Worth. Jimmie loved Fort Worth and knew it like the back of his hand. He enjoyed keeping up with the stock market, the Dallas Cowboys, golf and the TCU Horned Frogs. He had a quick-wit and sense of humor and it was a pleasure to be in his company.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie in 2005; his parents; and brothers, W. A. and Allen Carter.

James Leo Brewer

James Brewer was born September 24, 1958 in Weatherford to Howard Paul and Virginia Ann Holbrook Brewer. James was a member of First Baptist Church and a long time employee of the Weatherford Post Office. He began working part time at the post office at age 19 while perusing his interest in automobiles as a salesman at a parts store. A short time later, James was hired as a full time rural route carrier with the post office and continued his love for cars on his off time. He always enjoyed going to Corpus Christi on deep sea fishing tours and spending time exploring the ocean.

James was preceded in death by his father Howard Paul Brewer, in 1992.

Shane Weston Cook

Shane was born July 28, 1971 in Blackwell, Okla. He was a very young at heart 40 year old. Shane was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

John "Jack" Frank Brow
Jack was born January 6, 1929 in Fresno, Calif. to John Frank and Christine Rose Jones Brow. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Jack loved to watch sports on television especially the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed shopping with his wife, Glenda. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and daughter, Judy Dixon.
