A long time resident of Parker County, Judy was an avid horsewoman and writer of poems that were published. Horses, family, and dairy goats were the highlights of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruby Melton.

Survivors: husband, Gary Burris of Millsap; son, Gary J. Burris, Jr.; daughters Heidi Valley of Coleman; and Melissa Ford and husband, John of KY; brothers, Jimmy Zakawoski of KY, and David Hyatt of Ft. Worth; five grandchildren; and numerous friends and acquaintances.

Dell was born October 9, 1940 in Mingus to the late Venice Franklin and
Emma Kate Bandy.

She was an active member of Rock of Helps Church and the Red Hat Club. Dell Devoted her life to helping and caring for others.

SURVIVORS: children, Tommy Teadt of Azle, Loraine Liles and husband, Robbie of Springtown and Vicki Evans of Weatherford; grandchildren, Kenneth Dunn, Kimberly Farson, Tommy Lee Teadt, Elizabeth Teadt, Christina Teadt, Carra Dedvsevic, and Timothy Teadt II; great-grandchildren, Garrett Reed, Sarah Arriaga, Alexa Arriaga, David Farson,Jr., and Timothy Teadt III and a host of loving family and friends.

Dwight was born May 6, 1947 in Moulton, Ala. He was a long time resident of Weatherford. Dwight loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a hard worker and did not want to retire. Dwight was always looking forward to another great adventure.

John G. Sweetser

John was born in Weir City, Kansas January 22, 1936 to the late Earl and Vivian Sweester. He honorably served his country for 22 years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After retiring from the military he enjoyed woodworking and created many treasures that he shared with his family and friends.

Survivors: loving wife of 50 years, Willistine Sweetser; daughter, Shelly Boynton and husband, Murray of Fort Worth; son, Darrel Sweetser of Azle; grandchildren, Samantha, Brittany and Brett; brother, Ned Sweetser; and sister, Nedra Nipper.

Doris Marie Taylor was born May 27, 1926, in Abilene, the second of three children to the late Milton Jack and Clara Mae Sproles Osborn. She was a member of North Main Church of God.

Doris was preceded in death by her husbands, Andrew Billingsley Stanley and Lymon Doss Taylor; brother, James Osborn; and granddaughter, Tammy Denise Stanley.

Survivors: Sons, James Gaylon Stanley Sr. and wife, Kathy, of Grandview, Joe Clyde Taylor and Carey Lee Taylor, both of Weatherford; grandchildren, James "Jim" Stanley Jr. and wife, Sissy, of Alvarado, and Michele Ann Stanley Pulse; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.

Jess E. Hall, Jr.

Jess enlisted in the US Army Air Corps at the onset of World War II and flew in Canada and Alaska. Jess returned to Texas after the end of the war and entered into the oilfield business with his father and three brothers. In 1948 Jess founded Weatherford Oil Tool Co., which today is known as Weatherford International, a global company employing over 50,000 people. After retiring from the presidency of Weatherford Oil Tool, Jess founded Jess Hall's Seasoned Salt Co. in 1975.

Throughout his life Jess maintained an intense love for aviation and his family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Hall, and his brothers Dub, Elmer and John.

Frances EvansAlma Frances Greenfield – Evans, age 90, died Monday, July 18, 2011 in a Weatherford nursing center.

Ms. Greenfield – Evans was born October 14, 1920 in Aledo, and was a resident there until moving to Weatherford, where she resided until her death.

Frances was a member of the First Baptist Church of Aledo for 70-plus years, and during those years served as Sunday School Secretary, Librarian, Greeter, and the Designated Hugger for all, and she was a member of the “Joy Strummers.”

Bill EastmanB. C. “Bill” Eastman, age 81, of Aledo, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in Fort Worth.

Bill was born April 23, 1930 in Aledo, where he had lived all his life. He was a retired office machine salesman and technician, caretaker for the Aledo Brown Cemetery, Veteran of the U. S. Air Force and member of the Aledo United Methodist Church. During his life he served as a member of the Aledo School Board, as an Aledo Volunteer Fireman, and on the board member of the Aledo Community Center.
