Carole was born January 30, 1939 in Peoria, Ill. to Sidney S. and
Dorothy Miller Sears. She was a longtime resident of Azle after
having lived 45 years in Tucson, Ariz. Carole loved her family,
entertaining, and working on her home. She and husband, Alan had
Beverly Ann BrownBeverly Ann Brown, 57, of Weatherford passed away Monday morning October 4, 2010. She was born September 16, 1953 in Weatherford where she was a life long resident. Beverly was a member of Center Point Church of God and was a devoted teacher and active employee for Rio Vista Elementary School. She taught in Rio Vista ISD for 24 years, proudly participating in PTA as well as other school functions. Beverly is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Jackson and a brother Larry Jackson.

Loretta Redus was a long time resident of Parker County. Her family
and friends were the love of her life and basketball was the
highlight of her life. Loretta was a devout Christian and an active
member of Adell Baptist Church until she moved to Sabinal to live
with her two sons. She then joined the FBC of Sabinal. Loretta was

Louise was born November 14, 1921 the daughter of Michael and
Virginia Giraldi in Ansonia, Conn. She was a Navy Veteran and a
member of TCU Woman's Exs. Louise was a retired school teacher and
her students would remember her as Louise Ward. She was preceded in
death by her parents; husband, Quentin; son, Steve Burgett;
brothers and sisters, Peter Giraldi, Madeline Semersky, Angelo
(Frank) Giraldi and Rose Ann Kunzik.
Linda Gail Woodall, 65 of Poolville, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in a Dallas hospital. Linda was born February 1, 1945 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Jessie and Frances McLeister. She was a homemaker, a nurses aide and a member of the Assembly of God Church. Linda loved animals and flower gardening and loved her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Charles Vance Rosenthal and daughter, Consada Woodall.

Jeanie was born April 21, 1947, in Durant, Okla., to David and
Billie McCarver. She was a volunteer at the Fort Worth Botanic
Gardens. Jeanie was a member of the Mae Blanton Society and the
Dallas Begonia Society.
Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Husband, Edward Dinsmore; son, James Armstrong;
daughters, Angela Harrison and Thomas Maxwell, and Kimmico Barnard
and husband, Randy, all of Springtown; grandchildren, Wesley Gross,

Mary was born in Cambridge, England in 1924 to Frances and Louisa
Farrington. She was one of eighteen children, five of which still
In 1945 Mary married an American soldier named Truman Harris, thus
making her a war bride. Coming to the US in 1946 they settled in
Texas and spent most of their 38 year marriage between Texas and
California. They were blessed with ten children, 27 grandchildren
and numerous great-grandchildren.

Era Charlene Nickerson, 88, died Sunday, September 26, 2010 at her residence.
Born October 9, 1921, she was a resident of Weatherford for many years. She was a homemaker caretaker for North Texas Health Services and member of the Hilltop Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Brock High School, where she played basketball on championship teams.
Era was preceded in death by a son, Bobby R. Cardwell, seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Benny Cardwell of Grand Prairie and Gary Cardwell and wife Vanessa of Fort Stockton; a brother, M. F.” Jack” Tanner of San Diego; grandchildren Guy and Lori; and great grandchildren, Travis and Autumn.

Mary was a loving and caring wife, mother and friend. She was a prominent local business woman who sat on the board of Child Protective Services. She worked in the oil and gas industry, a successful real estate investor, owner/operator of It's Your World Travel and a partner in the 3L ranch operations. Her passion was people and a purpose driven life. Her faith and daily toil exemplified a wife as described in Proverbs 31. She was always responsive to the needs of others. Mary is loved and will be missed by many. God rest her beautiful soul.
