Sue was born December 15, 1912 in Parker County to Henry and Emma Jones Smith. She had lived in the community of Reno for many years.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Austin; sons, Don and Woody Austin; sisters, Ray, Ruth, and Imogene.

Survivors: son, Ted Austin and wife, Cindy of Springtown; daughters, Mary Ann Austin and husband, Lloyd Bailey and Evelyn Graham all of Springtown; grandchildren, Ronnie Swant, Susan Skinner, Dana Miller, Kenneth Atchison, Beverly Bosma, Nick Austin, Teresa and Hayley Austin; nine great-grandchilderen; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Shelli was born Dec. 19, 1981, in Waurika, Okla, daughter of Joseph Eugene England and Debbie Sue Testerman. She liked to decorate and take care of her children. Shelli loved to cook for her family and she always made everyone laugh. She liked to help others and was a best friend to her mother.

Evelyn May RagleEvelyn May Ragle

Evelyn was born in Dallas to Floyd and Maggie Bennett. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1942 and from North Texas State Teachers College in 1946.

While visiting a veteran's hospital with sorority sisters, she met James H. Ragle, a patient, and they were married in Dallas on Oct. 1, 1949. They moved to Weatherford in 1958 and raised four children there. Evelyn lived in Weatherford until 2008.

Virginia Martin BeeneVirginia Martin Beene

Virginia Bernice Peace was born July 15, 1920, in Tyler, TX, daughter
of the late Benjamin and Nellie Ford Peace. She attended Tyler schools
and married Jeff Monroe Martin on March 2, 1940. The Martins moved to
Weatherford in 1950 where Virginia worked for Safeway Stores from 1956
until her retirement in 1986. She and Jeff were active members of
First Baptist Church of Weatherford. She always loved working in the
yard and had many beautiful blooms as a result. Virginia also enjoyed
watching the many birds that flew into their back yard. Virginia and
Jeff played 42 and 84 with friends from First Baptist Church, and she

Dorothy Moore was born July 15, 1919, daughter of the late Jim and Pearl Norris Yeary in Aledo. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Dorothy was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Moore; her brother, Herman Yeary; and sisters, Mary Bradbury and Ruth King.

Survivors: daughter, Mary Ruth Hausler and husband, Roy of Weatherford; son, J.C. Moore of Weatherford; grandson, Clifford Hausler and wife, Rebecca of Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Michaela Kaal, Megan Hausler, Georgia Hausler, Eric Hausler; and several nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Darwin Guy was born December 7, 1939 to Doris and Vernon Hahn in Port Angeles, Washington. He was adopted at the age of three by Charlie and Ruth Guy of Macksville, Kansas. He married Anna Hagewood in Trousdale, Kansas on October 8, 1961.

Darwin served four years in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Mac Dill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. He served one tour of duty in Thailand and Vietnam. Darwin joined Gideons International in 1976 and served in local and state positions as he pursued his passion to get God’s word into the hands of people everywhere.

He owned and operated Springtown Feed and Fertilizer from 1976-1990. During that time he owned and operated several convenience stores in the Springtown area.

Clifton HughesClifton Hughes

Clifton was a longtime resident of Springtown and was a rancher on "the farm" in Agnes. He was known as the "super plumber" at PVI, Industries where he retired in 1982. He began his own business working with comercial boilers and water heaters which continues today.

As a young man, Clifton worked extremely hard to support his family. He met his wife of 54 years, Rheta McAlpine, in Lott in 1951. They were blessed with two sons. The 54 roses on the casket are a symbol of the 54 years of love between Clifton and Rheta.

Clifton was preceded in death by his father and mother; two brothers; and two sisters.
