Connie CrossConnie Cross

Connie was born December 14, 1956, in Lake Worth, to Charles and Ellen Stout Lovett. She was a great fan of rock-n-roll music and attended Springtown High School. Connie married Michael James Cross in Weatherford in 1973.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors: Husband of 37 years, Mike Cross; daughter, Dalania Smith and husband, Rocky; grandchildren, Taylor and Nicole Smith, all of Springtown; brother, Craig Lovett and wife, Janet, of Mansfield; sister, Charlotte Tice of Fort Worth; and a host of loving family and friends.

JJ was born April 2, 1959 to Ronald and Alice Mulqueen Hudson in Long Island, New York. She loved to travel to visit her family and spending time with her grandchildren. JJ lived an exemplary life filled with faith in God, compassion, love, laughter and kindness. She was a beautiful role model for all.

JJ was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W. Drexel Sales, in 1994; and grandson, Noel Hernandez, Jr.

Jessie Dunlap was born April 26, 1932 to Jake and Mary Maxwell. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Castle Hills.  Jessie retired from FWISD after 30 years of service in 1997.

Shirley Ann Chesnut Edwards was born March 1, 1935, at Chesnut Mountain, daughter of the late Dwight and Pearl Jones Chesnut. She married Tom Edwards in Santo in 1951 and they began their lives together, which would last 60 years. Shirley loved to work in her orchard and garden and was an animal lover. She reared her five children and was active at Live Oak Baptist Church until her health no longer permitted. Service to her Lord was top priority, followed very closely by her family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Margene Ricke.

Virginia "Gerry" JonesVirginia "Gerry" Jones

Virginia was born Virginia G. Aday, December 5, 1923. She has called North Points her home for the past six years. Gerry was a long time Azle resident and was an active member of Silver Creek United Methodist Church in Azle. Since the passing of her husband, David, she has been a member of Birdville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; granddaughter, Dianna; and many other family members. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Alice Mary Bennett ClarkAlice Mary Bennett Clark

Alice was born March 18, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Lucille Bennett. She enjoyed dancing, reading, swimming, traveling and tending her rose garden. After marrying Roy Clark in 1947 Alice devoted her life to her family. Alice and Roy moved from Chicago to Midlothian, Illinois in 1954, where they lived happily together until 2004.

Alice raised her children with deep devotion and unending love. She taught them that kindness matters and and that family always comes first. Her honesty and independent nature lives on in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alice leaves a legacy of tender love and many blessed happy memories.

Cleo Dell GannCleo Dell Gann

Cleo was born May 10, 1928, the daughter of Roy Stephen and Okla Loraine Wilson in Rule, Texas. She married W.A. "Hub" Gann on October 12, 1945. Cleo was a life long member of the Rule Church of Christ. She was an amazing woman who loved God, her family, and friends. Cleo lived her faith each day, never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her smile was so bright it lit up the the room and gave encouragement to everyone who saw it. Cleo was preceded in death by her parents; husband, "Hub"; five sisters, and one brother.
