Jimmie was born November 3, 1926 in Azle the youngest child of Atlas and Beatrice Gipson Carter. He made his profession of faith as a young boy at Ash Creek Baptist Church in Azle. Jimmie graduated from Azle High School and honorably served his country in the Merchant Marines during World War II, traveling to many places. He enjoyed living at his lake front property on Lake Worth. Jimmie loved Fort Worth and knew it like the back of his hand. He enjoyed keeping up with the stock market, the Dallas Cowboys, golf and the TCU Horned Frogs. He had a quick-wit and sense of humor and it was a pleasure to be in his company.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie in 2005; his parents; and brothers, W. A. and Allen Carter.

James Leo BrewerJames Leo Brewer

James Brewer was born September 24, 1958 in Weatherford to Howard Paul and Virginia Ann Holbrook Brewer. James was a member of First Baptist Church and a long time employee of the Weatherford Post Office. He began working part time at the post office at age 19 while perusing his interest in automobiles as a salesman at a parts store. A short time later, James was hired as a full time rural route carrier with the post office and continued his love for cars on his off time. He always enjoyed going to Corpus Christi on deep sea fishing tours and spending time exploring the ocean.

James was preceded in death by his father Howard Paul Brewer, in 1992.

Jack was born January 6, 1929 in Fresno, Calif. to John Frank and Christine Rose Jones Brow. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Jack loved to watch sports on television especially the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed shopping with his wife, Glenda. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and daughter, Judy Dixon.

Bryan Cecil Frailey was born April 23, 1954, in Fort Worth, son of the late Harvey G. and Barbara Bell Frailey. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy and made his career as a custom painter. Bryan had a great sense of humor and left an impression on every life he touched. He was an outdoorsman and loved fishing and the Dallas Cowboys. He really appreciated a pretty yard and enjoyed working in his yard and sitting on the front porch. Roscoe, his faithful dog, was his buddy.

Bryan was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Dale Jett.

William B. BurtenWilliam B. Burten

William Boyd Burten was born Aug. 22, 1930, in Fort Worth. He loved to be outdoors but really loved fishing and keeping his lawn manicured. Bill also liked to travel with Audrey, whom he married on April 30, 1982, in Fort Worth. However, his favorite pastime was tinkering in his garage He made his career as an optician and retired after many dedicated years. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Witherspoon and husband, Morris; and his father, Willie J. Burten.

Diane was born July 19, 1956 in Houston to Benjamin and Helen DeLoache. Diane had lived in the Springtown and Azle area for 20 years. She was always proud to be a Baylor Bear. Diane and husband, Alan were married June 20, 1987 in Longview. their daughter, Catherine was born July 16, 1991. Diane was a school librarian in Port Isabel and also in Fort Worth. She liked to work crossword puzzles and be on the computer. Diane was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Larry Don was born to Archie and Stella Hall Hughes in Fort Worth on August 6, 1949. He was long time resident of Springtown. Larry Don was an avid sports fan, he loved fishing, golf and bowling. He was a very hard worker, who dearly loved his family. Larry honorably served his country in the United States Navy.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and niece, Teresa White.

Survivors: daughter, Shawnda Hughes of Fort Worth; sons, Chris Hughes and wife, Jana of White Settlement, and Brandon Hughes of Springtown; sister, Patricia White and husband, Dean of Calif.; grandchildren, Brittany, Auston, Hailey and Jaime; also his beloved pets, Mia and Mugsy.
