Arlene Reeves Box, 81, died Thursday, June 19, 2014.
Service is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at White's Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle with interment at Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home.
Mrs. Box was born in McCulloch County Dec. 1, 1932 to Buford and Eunice Moore Reeves. She graduated from Carlton High School. Arlene had been the church secretary at Westworth Church of Christ, where she was a member, for many years. She loved genealogy, reading and Cherokee history.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Gene Reeves; and sisters, Virginia Williams and Sharon Watson.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Box of Azle; son, Wade Box and wife, Sherri of Burleson; daughter, Carla Box Lindsey of Reno; granddaughter, Erin Box; grandsons, Carson Lindsey and Christian Lindsey; brother, Larry Reeves and wife, Traunsa of Azle; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Jack Leigh Eidson, M.D., 91, died June 15, 2014 in Weatherford.
Memorial service is set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 21 at Grace First Presbyterian Church, 606 Mockingbird Lane, Weatherford.
In lieu of flowers, the family desires that memorials be sent to Grace First Presbyterian Church of Weatherford, The Boy or Girl Scouts of America or a charity of choice.
"Dr. Jack," as he was affectionately known, was born Aug. 26, 1922 in Greenville, S.C., to Charles George Eidson and Margaret Edna (Leigh) Eidson.
He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1943 on a Plan II program and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Sigma fraternities. During the war, the Army sent Eidson through Baylor Medical School on its three-year "fast-track" program, from which he graduated in 1946. For the next four years, he served his obligation in the U.S. Army Air Corps with duty in Houston, San Antonio, Indianapolis and Denver.

Eleonore T Nelson died Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
Funeral is set for 10 a.m., Saturday, June 21 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1500 W Ball Street, Weatherford with interment at Holly Hills Cemetery, Highway 51, Granbury. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N Elm, Weatherford. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations to LWML Trinity Lutheran Church, 1500 W Ball Street.
Mrs. Nelson was born March 17, 1926 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany to Joseph and Katherine Klaus. She married Richard A Nelson April 30, 1948. They recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. They had five sons and one daughter. Nelson spent her wedded years as a staunch and loyal supporter to her husband in his work as a pastor in The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth.
Survivors include her husband, Rev Richard Nelson of Weatherford; daughter, Mary and Rev. Stephen Jennings of Jacksonville, Fla.; four sons, Dr. Frank and Donna Nelson of Weatherford, John Nelson of Midland, Mich., Paul and Susan Nelson of Adrian, Mich., and Mark Nelson of Weatherford; two foster sons, Bryan Clark of Waterford, Mich. and Allen Clark of Carleton, Mich.; two cousins in Germany; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild ;and a host of other relatives and friends.

Brooksie Bonita "Nita" Taylor Simpson died Monday, June 16, 2014
Born April 19, 1925, in Electra to the late Anice Richards Taylor and RL "Burt" Taylor, Nita was one of four children. Her brothers, Mickey Joe Taylor and Aaron Taylor, and sister and best friend, Bonnie Taylor Martin, along with a very special brother-in-law, O. E. "Junior" Martin, preceded her in death. On September 15, 1943, Nita married Paul Lewis Simpson, Sr. Though Nita was widowed after 10 years of marriage, she and Paul were blessed with four children, Paul Lewis Simpson, Jr., Martha Simpson Lewis, Jo Simpson Johns and Debbie Simpson Swearingin. Later in life when her children married, Nita's family grew with three son-in-laws, Bubba Swearingin, Craig Lewis and Clay Johns, and devoted daughter-in-law, Kathy Simpson. Widowed with four children, Nita lived every day of her life for her family and loved ones, and was always sharing stories about "granddaddy" with her grandchildren. Preceeded in death by grandson, Byron Simpson, Nita is survived by seven grandchildren and five grandson-in-laws: Nicole Swearingin (John) McGuire, Danielle Swearingin (Chuck) Felts, Taylor Swearingin (Robert) Hall, Paula Simpson (Mike) Vidaurri, Cassy Simpson Snetzer, Heather Simpson (Brad) Friermood, and Sara Simpson. Nita is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Billy "Bill" Ray Bostick, 61, died Saturday, June 14, 2014.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Bostick was born Dec. 29, 1952 to Bobby and Betty Bostick. He was a longtime resident of Azle, where he grew up, and he attended Azle High School. When he was younger, he was a professional rodeo saddle bronc rider. He married Denise Fenty and they adopted a daughter from Lithuania, LeeAnna. Bostick was a master plumber who established Bostick Plumbing more than 30 years ago.
He had many hobbies that ranged from watching baseball to scuba diving. He was a master scuba diver, adored watching the Texas Rangers and was a highly skilled pool player who went to the finals in Las Vegas, Nev. in the singles and league competitions. What Bill loved most was spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Denise Bostick; daughter, LeeAnna Bostick; granddaughter, Vanessa Carol Bostick; brother, Warren Bostick and wife, Glenice; sister, Elizabeth Adams; step-brother, Bobby Bostick, Jr.; step-mother, Patti Bostick; niece, Camille Cryer; and a host of friends.

Frankie Maxine "Mac" Seaberry, 90, died Friday, June 13, 2014.
Service is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle, 76020 with interment at Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle. Open visitation is from noon to 4 p.m. Monday at White's Azle Funeral Home.
Mrs. Seaberry was born May 29, 1924, in the Bluff Springs Silver Creek community. She joined Silver Creek United Methodist Church as a small child and grew up in that church. She was a 1942 graduate of Azle High School. She married James Ford Seaberry, and they raised a family. Mac had many jobs throughout her life, but her most important role was that of a housewife and mother.
Seaberry was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Ford Seaberry; parents, Durel and Dora Cannon; and siblings, Laverne Winnett, Wordna Pierce, Wayne Cannon, Winfred Cannon and Betty Jean Bettis.
Survivors include sons, Glen Seaberry and Paul Seaberry; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Nancy J. Johnson, 79, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
Funeral service is set for 1 p.m. Monday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford with interment at Tin Top Cemetery
Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson was born Nov. 10, 1934 to Clarence and Grace Tracy Sr. in East St. Louis, Ill. She was a hard worker and had many jobs over the years including working at an insurance agency, a jewelry store, waitressing and on the assembly line at factories for Lasko and Behr of America. She lived in many places including Missouri, Illinois, Canada, Wyoming, Colorado and Florida.
Johnson was married to R. D. Johnson for 22 years. They spent many years traveling the world on cruise ships and abroad.
Survivors include her husband, R.D. Johnson; sons, George Wallace and wife, Sherrill, Scott Donnell, Jeff Donnell and Patrick Donnell; brothers and sisters; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

James Monroe Cacy, 68, died June 6, 2014.
Memorial service is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14 at White's Azle Chapel. Interment at Dallas-Fort Worth Cemetery will be at a later date.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
Mr. Cacy was born Sept. 22, 1945 in Dallas. He entered the United States Army in 1963. He served in the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1966 and served in the Army Reserves until 1969. Cacy returned to San Antonio and married Linda Vanderburg Nov. 14, 1966. He served in the American Legion for the past three years. He retired in 2011 from Plaza Medical Center after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Cacy, and sister, Shirley Martin.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Linda Cacy; daughter, Sheila Howell and husband, Tim; son, Michael Cacy and wife, Andrea; granddaughters, Emily and Avery Howell; grandson, Landry Cacy; sisters, Lavelle Ivie, Linda Roberts and Kaye Leslie; brothers, Carroll Cacy and Steven Bickley; and other extended family members and friends.

Donnie "Don" Wright, 66, died Thursday, June 5, 2014 in Weatherford.
Service is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Silver Creek United Methodist Church, 2200 Church Road, Azle, 76020. Interment will be at Veal Station Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086.
Mr. Wright was born Nov. 23, 1947, in Weatherford to Rev. Denzil and Ina Wright. The son of a Methodist minister, he attended many schools before graduating from Hillsboro High School in 1966. He served his country during the Vietnam era in the U.S. Air Force.
He married Linda Van Winkle July 14, 1972 in Alvarado. They raised two daughters in Weatherford. Don was a member of Silver Creek United Methodist Church.
He retired from Lockheed Martin after many years of service. After retiring, he was promoted Granddad for his four grandchildren. He spent his last years catering to his grandchildren's every wish.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ina Faye England.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Linda Wright; daughters, Monica Boyd of Saginaw and Angie Romer and husband, Sean, of Azle; grandchildren, Terence Boyd, Makayla Boyd, Coby Romer and Carson Romer; brothers, Denzil Wright Jr. and wife, Jeri, Ronald Wright, Michael Wright and wife, Dee Dee, and Timothy Wright and partner, Philip Phifer; and many relatives and friends.

Mack Wayne Dobbins, 81, died Friday, June 6, 2014 in Granbury. Service is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home with interment at Aledo Brown Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Mack Wayne Dobbins was born April 8, 1933. He was a Coleman native who attended schools in Fort Worth and Mansfield after relocating to Fort Worth at age seven. He graduated from Mansfield High School and worked for Leonard Brother Stores downtown Fort Worth. Jess Smith, his father-in-law, helped Mack get a job with Tesco where, after 39 years of service, he retired while residing in Aledo. He later moved to Pecan Plantation where he enjoyed a daily golf game. Mack was preceded in death by his father, L.D. Dobbins; his mother, Inez Dobbins; his wife, Jane Dobbins to whom he was married 39 years; and brother, Donald Dobbins.
 Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Margie Dobbins; daughters, Brenda Sheeley and husband, Danny and Deneise Stockon and husband, Jerry; brothers, Lynn Dobbins and Pat Dobbins; sister, Nelda Howton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; and many step-children and step-grandchildren.
