Jimmy Edward Hall
Born Oct. 6, 1938, Jimmy grew up in Springtown and attended Texas A&M before joining the U.S. Marine Corps. After returning to Texas he became a dairy farmer. His grandchildren have many fond memories of helping Grandpa Jimmy in the barn. His family will miss his kind words and gentle smile but are blessed with many wonderful memories.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Laverl Hall; his wife, Patsy; and stepson, Brian Hodges.

Bette Binzer
Elizabeth Binzer, age 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Weatherford Texas in the bosom of her family on Saturday evening, January 19, 2013.
Beloved wife of Carl Binzer since 1954, cherished mother of Dr. Carol Binzer, Dr. Thomas Binzer & Mrs. Tara Larson Binzer, treasured grandmother of Larson Elizabeth and Patrick Carl Binzer, elder sister of Judy (Bachmann) & Don Ellis of Virginia, and niece to Howard Bachmann of New Jersey. Bette Ann was aunt and cousin, teacher, mentor and friend to many. No one would dispute her love for and devotion to her family, and many have heard the tales of their (our) lives.
Born in New York City (Queens), she attended Queens College, now a part of New York University.
Bette Binzer was a teacher by vocation and avocation and a community servant throughout her life in the 14 communities they lived. She has been a faithful Catholic and enjoyed parish service and her association with Catholic Daughters of the Americas, the St. Stephen’s Lunch Bunch, the Altar Society, and the Over 60’s Group since 2000. Bette also enjoyed friendships with the Trace Ridge neighbors—a family of friends.

Anna Mae RitcheyAnna Mae Knotts Ritchey was born October 28, 1915.
She was a longtime resident of Azle. Anna was a people person especially at the Azle Opry. She loved to be outside with her plants and flowers. Anna was a wonderful cook and good fisherman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loyd; a son; three brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors: Son, Billy Ritchey and wife, Mille; daughter, Carolyn Penn all of Azle; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; also many relatives and friends.

Frances Powell
Frances was born April 16, 1920 in Silver Lake, N.J. to Alfred and Jessie Clayton Miller. She married Dr. Leo S. Powell May 3, 1941. Frances was a homemaker and had been a receptionist with the Azle Pastoral Counseling Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Powell; and sister, Marion Dethloff.

Survivors: Son, Arthur Powell; daughters, Susan Grindal and husband, Bill, Diane Golonka and husband, Dan and Linda Burke and husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Mitchell Powell, Julie Smith, Brent Sheldon, Eric and Scott Golonka, Sean and Evan Burke, Jessie King and Laura Thompson; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of loving friends.

Gene, a longtime resident, of Azle was born November 29, 1920 in Red Springs. She was an officer in the Rebecca Lodge of Azle. Gene was an officer in the Spillway Fire department and past president of The North Tarrant County Firefighters Association. Gene was also a retired Deputy Sheriff of Tarrant County. She was devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Gene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessie Paul; and a brother.

Survivors: Daughters, Nedra Tidwell and husband, Wilburn, Martha Cearley and husband, Bobby all of Azle; son, Jessie Pike of River Oaks; also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many friends and acquaintances.

Roy Lynn Lynch

Roy Lynch was born Dec. 22, 1943, in Paducah. He lived most of his life in Aledo.
Lovingly referred to as “Popi”, Roy loved sports and changed many lives coaching. He was a loyal follower of Aledo High School football.

He was passionate about his children, grandchildren, and their sports games. He would attend 3 to 4 sporting events a week. The inspiration and support from his presence will forever be felt and remembered in their hearts.
Roy and Jan started Lynch Real Estate in 1974.

He started sub contracting, and that led to their successful real estate business for 40 years. He would refer to all his agents as extended family. But his greatest love and passion was his wife, kids, grand kids and great grandson.

Roy Lynn Lynch built houses, communities, businesses and a wonderful Christian family. He will be greatly missed and his legacy will live on forever.

He was preceded in death by father, Theo Lynch; sister, Pat Lynch Brown; step-mom, Fern Lynch; and step-brother, Ricky Genova.

Nancy Ella Ball
Nancy was born June 3, 1943, daughter of Francis Arthur and Mary Elva Gonzalez Laubenthal in Los Angeles, Calif. She married her first husband, Jimmy Paulman, father of her son, John Paulman, in 1963. Nancy married her second husband, William Lynn Ball in 1983 and they lived in Fort Worth, Hurst and Weatherford. She lived with her son and daughter-in-law in Weatherford for the past five years. Nancy was a member of Country Cross Roads Club and attended Couts Memorial United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Lynn in 2005.

Survivors: Son, John Paulman and wife, Karen; granddaughter, Katie; step-son, Wess Ball and wife, Suzanne; step-grandchildren, Allison, Dana and Tyler; brother, Frank Laubenthal and wife, Marilyn; sister, Frances Wolf and husband, Gordon; and numerous nieces.

Norma Faye Pinkerton

Norma was born November 26, 1934 to James M. (Jim) and Johnnie Heath White in Dallas. She was a long time resident of Dallas. Norma met the love of her life, Ronald Pinkerton and they married on April 18, 1953.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Nickie Jared Pinkerton.

Roy Peter Billiot was born June 24, 1943, in Houma, La., the baby of 13 children to the late Alfred and Victoria Matherne Billiot. He married the former Elma Verdin and they shared 44 years together. Roy made his career as a welder but his real joy was playing his guitar and singing at the senior center in Springtown.

Roy was preceded in death by his son, Randy Billiot; granddaughter, Olivia; great-grandson, Braxton; and his parents; and 12 brothers and sisters.
