Mrs. Green was born December 29, 1941 in the Philippines. She was a homemaker, loved fishing and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Avelina is survived by; Special Friend Louis Sharp of Weatherford, son, Mario Alferes Reyes of the Philippines, nieces, Lita Bilsky of Arlington and Nina Harkness of Erie, PA.

Bob Park
Bob Park was born May 2, 1935 son of the late Curtis and Alleyne Voorhies Park in Weatherford. He graduated from Weatherford High School in 1953 where he excelled in football and was Class President. Bob attended Texas A&M and graduated from Sam Houston State University. He married the love of his life, Audrey McCrary in 1962. Bob was a long time automobile salesman. He was owner and operator of Bob Park Motor Company in Weatherford. Bob was a charter member of the Parker County Amateur Radio Club and a member of Phoenix Masonic Lodge #275. Bob was a Presbyterian.

Fay was born June 3, 1915 daughter of William L. and Cora Pearce Hoglan in Yell County, Arkansas. She was a long time resident of Parker County. Mrs. Loomis was an excellent carpenter and enjoyed gardening, crafts and quilting. For many years she also enjoyed teaching her Sunday School Class. Fay was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ned Frank and one grandson.
Survivors include daughters, Doris Jennings and husband Derrell of Weatherford, Janetta Loomis of Gustine; son, Ned F. Loomis, Jr. of Granbury; sisters, Mozelle, Velma and Charlene; brothers, Ed and Fred; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Betty Lee Williams Pope Southern
Betty was born April 27, 1925 to Thomas A. and Lessie Waters Moore in Poolville. She was a life time resident of Poolville. Her church, children and grandchildren were the highlight of her life. Betty served others through her nursing career as an LVN.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors: son, Jimmy Williams and wife, Ellen, of Haltom City; daughter, Doris Williams of Poolville; son, Tommy Williams and wife, Alice, of Weatherford; brother, Foy Moore and wife, Ann, of Springtown; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; beloved dog, Mia; and many other family members, church family and friends.

Barbara June Dake
Barbara June Dake was born June 6, 1930, in Winters, daughter of the late Russell Moore and Willie Foster Burton. She married Roy Dake in 1950 in Wheeler and they began their life together. June was a member of The Gideons International and participated in prison ministries. She was a prolific published writer.
June had a servant's heart and was very good at helping those that were less fortunate as well as volunteering her time with a hospice group. She also taught Sunday school and was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dake; a grandson, Joel Williams; a sister, Geraldine Barbee; and her parents.

Teresa Lynn Aimone Blackburn was born on Sept. 4, 1956, in Pekin, Ill., to Dr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Aimone. She married Claude Blackburn in 1993 at the Apostles Episcopal Church in Coppell.
Teresa attended Pekin Grade School and High School, was a member of the National Honor Society and Pekin Melody Maids, and participated in the Youth Group at St. John's Lutheran Church. After graduation she attended Marycrest College and studied nursing. After one year, she transferred to Northern Michigan University where she graduated with a degree in Botany and Horticulture. After graduation she attended DuPage Horticultural School in North Chicago to increase her knowledge of horticulture. Upon graduation, she became a DuPage Horticultural School faculty member.

James “Jim” Edward Conklin, Jr.
He was born November 29, 1935 in Cornwall, New York to Mary I. and James Edward Conklin, Sr.
Jim joined the armed forces as a young man. He earned many Commendations throughout his career including a Vietnam Service Medal with one Silver Star and two Bronze Service Stars. He retired in the mid 1970’s after more than 22 years of service.
Jim, known as Pop by his grandchildren, was in the “Senior Circle” and enjoyed playing bingo at the Senior Center in Weatherford. Most recently, he attended church at Calvary Baptist. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and in 2002 his brother William Everett Conklin.

Lieutenant Patrick Harbold
Patrick James Harbold was born Sept. 14, 1962, in Toul-Rosières, France, son of Edward Ellsworth Harbold and Francoise Gabrielle Marie Clanet. Pat graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1981. After graduation, Pat joined the fire service and had served as an EMT since 1984. He started with Weatherford Fire Dept. in December 1988. Pat owned and operated H & F Communications and HJP Enterprises. In his spare time, Pat enjoyed hunting and boating.

Gertie Dean Gaston
Mrs. Gaston lived in Azle over 40 years and worked close to 20 of those years at Quick Wash. She lived a life loved by many, she was so very kind with a heart of gold. Mrs. Gaston was preceded in death by her parents; two loving sisters, Faye and Pauline.
