Barbara Ann Moore MorganBarbara Ann Moore Morgan
Barbara Ann Moore Morgan, affectionately known by all her friends and family as "Honey", was born in her home in Weatherford on November 10, 1936 to Chester and Earnestine Moore. Honey took her first job at the age of 13 at a local drug store on the square called Rae's Drugs. On May 8, 1954, Honey married the love of her life, Kenneth C. Morgan and together they had four children: Aileene, Kenny, Keith and Mary Ann. She earned her beautician's license in 1963 and spent the next 50 years providing salon services to numerous clients. In May, 2013, Honey fell ill and after a short time in the hospital, she passed away on June 22, 2013 with her family by her side.
Honey was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Earnestine Moore; her best friend and sister-in-law, Inez Holder; and her beloved husband, Kenneth C. Morgan.

Margaret Audette Lothridge was born March 26, 1948, in Jacksboro, the first of six children to the late David Elton and Margaret Nell Jackson Pigg. She met and married the love of her life, Edwin Lothridge on Aug. 28, 1964, and they began their life together. Audette worked as an LVN at Campbell Hospital and also worked at Central Tax Authority and Brazos Bail Bonds and was a charter member of Willow Park Baptist Church. Audette enjoyed her grandchildren, loved the beach, cooking and Las Vegas.
Audette was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Renee Meeks; a granddaughter, Lindsey Meeks; a son-in-law, John Meeks; her parents; a sister, Myrtis Kay Bane; and grandmother, Hattie Pigg.
Survivors: Husband, Edwin Lothridge of Weatherford; daughter, Shonda Wylie and husband, Mike, of Springtown; son, Glenn Lothridge and wife, Marie, of Arkansas; grandchildren, Kendra Meeks, Joshua Meeks, Chandler Meeks, Christian Meeks, Tristen Wylie, Hunter Wylie, Nicholas Wylie, Justin Lothridge, and Jaycie Lothridge; great-grandchildren, Madison Meeks and Ally Meeks; brothers, Bobby Pigg and wife, Cynthia, of Granbury and David Pigg, Jr. and wife, DeAnna, of Weatherford; sisters, Debbie Thedford and husband, Bo, of Tolar, Rhonda Hisey of Weatherford, and Melodi Smith and husband, Donnie, of Granbury; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.

Dan was born Aug. 20, 1933, in Salina, Kan., to Lola and Charles Kauth. He graduated from high school from Bavaria, Kan., in 1951. Dan married Ella Kohl on April 11, 1956, in Furth, Germany. Dan and Ella had been married 49 years when Ella died in 2005. They had one son, Jeffery, and one grandson, Clayton, whom Dan adored.
Dan served 20 years in the U.S. Army, serving tours of duty in Vietnam and Germany. He was a helicopter pilot and flight instructor. During his years of service, he received numerous awards and honors. He was proud of his service to his country.
After retirement from the military, Dan resided at Possum Kingdom Lake before finally moving to Weatherford.
Dan owned and operated Kauth Construction Company. Dan had many friends with whom he was generous with both his time and resources. Dan was a Shriner and active in community activities. He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Survivors: Surviving Dan are Jeffery, Pam and Clayton. Additional survivors are two sisters, Kay Smithers and Judy Morrison; and brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Linda Kauth.

George Goddard

George GoddardGeorge Goddard
George Arnold Goddard was born Sept. 8, 1930, to the late Francis Leon and Ora Mae McAdoo Goddard, in Newkirk, Okla. He married Norma Jean Todar on July 12, 1982, and they began their life together. George worked for General Motors in California for 9 years, then in Arlington and finally retired from Shreveport after many, many years as a machinist. His first love was being a jockey and he rode all over the country over the years. George worked on several ranches through the years, the last being the Rhodes Ranch in Palo Pinto. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Mineral Wells for nearly 20 years.
George was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Arnold Goddard; a daughter, Lydia Joan Goddard; two brothers; one sister; and his parents.
Survivors: Wife, Norma Goddard of Weatherford; daughter, Laura Jane Moulder of Cleburne; stepchildren, Jackie Robinson, Dora Lea Bell, Ruth Ann McBride, George Melton and Vickie Briggle; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and a host of loving family and friends.

Byrne Culwell MoodyByrne Culwell Moody
Byrne C. or "B.C." was born November 6, 1921, in Azle to Gilliam Byrne Moody and Beulah Culwell Moody. He was the third of four children, including Margaret Moody Hankins, Ruby Moody Sears and Ed Frazier Moody. He married Joyce Gilley on October 5, 1945, at First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth. Mr. Moody was honorably discharged from the Army Air Corps in 1943 on a medical discharge and was then appointed as rural mail carrier for the City of Azle. Upon retirement, he ranched in Parker, Erath, and Hamilton counties before returning to Azle in 2004. Byrne C. was active in the Azle Volunteer Fire Department, Azle Lions Club, Ash Creek Cemetery Association, Azle Civic League, and a lifetime member of Azle First United Methodist Church with a dual-membership with Silver Creek United Methodist Church. He was a 50 year member of the Azle Masonic Lodge. Byrne C. was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters.

Nathan Ray Pannell was born on January 30, 1982 and died on June 21, 2013. Nathan was a fisherman, an entrepreneur, and a lover of life. He loved his family and friends and he lived with a smile, a huge heart, and a passion for all that he did, and in turn he was loved by so many. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Smith; his Pappy; and uncle Bobby.
He is survived by his wife, Meghan Pannell; son, Kollin Ray Pannell; mother, Robin and husband, Bryant Johnson; sisters, Lauren and Amber; grandmother, Syble; aunt, Tangy and uncle David; cousin, JD; and many more uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Richard D. WhittRichard D. Whitt
Richard was born in Bonham to Loy and Lola Whitt. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Richard and wife, Judy were married September 23, 1966. Richard was a member of the Azle Church of Christ. He retired from Bell Helicopter after 39 years. Richard loved bass fishing and hunting with his friends and classic cars. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Judy Whitt of Azle; sons, Richie Whitt and wife, Delisa of Boyd and Rusty Whitt and wife, Amber of Lafayette, LA.; grandchildren, Holly and Mason Whitt; and a host of loving friends.
