Cassandra "Sandy" Lou Eagle, 49, died Feb. 8, 2014.
Service is set for 2:30 p.m. Thursday in White's Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle. Interment is in Ash Creek Cemetery, 300 S. Stewart St., Azle.
Eagle was born and raised in Azle and rarely left, unless Kid Rock was playing or a new Johnny Depp movie was out. She was born to the late Joy Berry Feb. 10, 1964. She graduated from ETSU and taught school at the Rock in Azle until poor health forced her to retire. Sandy loved her boys with all her heart and was proud of them for both going to Tech.
Survivors include her sons, Hunter and Tucker; father, Don Eagle; sister, Penny Week; uncle, Harold; and several nephews, great nieces and cousins.

Agnes Pugh, 90, loving mother and grandmother died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014. Graveside service is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.
Mrs. Pugh was born Jan. 1, 1924 in Graford, Fla. to Ruffin and Ethel Griffis. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Pugh; and daughter, Betty Campbell.
Survivors include a son, Larry Pugh; daughter, Gloria Bell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rose Marie Isbell Falconer, 72, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones, at home.
Celebration of life is set for 10 a.m. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Rose Marie Chaves was born March 12, 1941, to the late Albert and Susie Chaves in Bradley, Ark. She was a loving wife, awesome mother and grandma, a true lady of God, inside and out. Her world was centered around God, Heaven and her family. Until we meet again, Mom. We will love you forever.
Chaves was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Isbell; daughters, Cindy Cordell Amason and Barbara Isbell; father, Albert Chaves; and mother, Susie Chaves.
Survivors include her husband, Don Falconer; son, Alfred Isbell; daughter, Jodie Isbell Leeper; stepchildren, Don Clem, Traci Falconer, Angie Elliott and Perry Falconer; grandchildren, Kasey Isbell, Michael Cordell, Christi Cordell Hardison, Courtney Amason Mendolia, Shae Howse, Auston Leeper, Garrett Leeper and Kristin Hahn; great-grandchildren, Jenna Cordell, Cindi Cordell, Makenzie Hardison, Brittney Hardison, Preston Hardison, Gauge Howse, Leeland Hahn and Tayton Leeper; many sisters; and many other loving family members and friends.

Margie Brown, 89, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, in Fort Worth.

Margie Lou Brown was born July 26, 1924, in Blum, one of 13 children born to the late Lindsay and Nellie McBee Roberts. She attended grade school in Blum and then moved to Fort Worth and finished school there. Margie was a loving mother and grandmother with an amazing spirit. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and had a great love of her Lord. Margie was also very patriotic and always supported those who defend our freedom.
Survivors include a son, Bill R. Moore of Weatherford; daughters, Myrlene Hughs and husband, Ricky, of Granbury and Jeannell Olson and husband, Mickey, of Weatherford; sister, Jean Skinner of Euless; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

J.D. Simmons, 83, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014.
A celebration of life memorial will be held Saturday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at the
Parker County Cowboy Church, 5050 FM 5 in Aledo with Rev. Robert Bastic officiating.

Mr. Simmons was born Sept. 3, 1930 to the late J.D. and Annie Simmons of Gonzales. He served 13 years in the Army National Guard Artillery Division as s first lieutenant. He had multiple careers with AT&T, American Manufacturing and was a bus driver for Aledo ISD.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Harrill Simmons; son Gregory Simmons of Benbrook; daughters, Gaylia Simmons Hammond of Arlington,and Jenny Simmons of Fort Worth; grandsons, Jeff Bishop of Aledo, and Stephen Hammond and wife Liza Rodriguez Hammond of Fort Worth; granddaughter, Katy Hammond of College Station; sister, Leona Garner of Waco; brother, Walter Simmons and wife Shirley Simmons of Gonzales; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Amelia Elaine Jennings, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
Burial is at Annetta Cemetery.
Jennings was born Jan. 5, 2014 to Namon and Amber Holland Jennings in Weatherford. Her mother graduated from Mabank High School, received her Bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University and a Master's degree from Midwestern State University. She currently teaches Agriculture Science and is the Weatherford FFA Advisor at Weatherford High School. Amelia's father is a graduate of Bryson High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University. He is currently working as an emissions technician. Namon and Amber married June 6, 2009.
Survivors include her parents, Namon and Amber Jennings; sister, Emilee Munchrath; maternal grandparents, Gary and Beverly Joseph of Benbrook and Mack Holland of Gun Barrel City; paternal grandparents, Ray and Linnette Jennings of Bryson; great-grandmothers, Jean Holland of Gun Barrel City and Mary Lawrence of Paragould, Ark.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lawrence "Pete" Hunter, 89, died peacefully at home Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Graveside service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford.
Hunter had an amazing and full life, starting with serving in World War II, on the Oriental Odyssey, with the Air Group 2 as an ammunitions ordnance man. He then began a 32-year career in the Fort Worth Fire Dept. After retiring from the department, Pete became an entrepreneur, owning several businesses, then working and living on his ranch in Weatherford. He enjoyed golfing with his friends and fishing.
Survivors include his daughters, Mary Jane Wooten of Weatherford, Mae and Thomas Jones of Fort Worth and Gail Hunter of Fort Worth; sister, Curtis Louise "Sister" Hatfield; grandsons, Tony and wife, Dee Dee Harrington, and Brian and wife, Doris Harrington; granddaughters, Natalie and Ronnie Stanford and Sonya Killgo; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Carolyn Wilhoite Malone, 56, a resident of Weatherford since 1998, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, surrounded by family in Weatherford.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment is in Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Malone was born June 26, 1957, in Fort Worth, daughter of Fred Lyle and Marilyn Lissitte Hossmyer Wilhoite. She graduated from Haltom High with the class of 1975 and married James Malone in Fort Worth Sept. 11, 1989.
Malone loved to read her Bible and impressed upon her daughters, "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." She attended First Baptist Church of Weatherford.
Malone was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Billy Wilhoite.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, James Malone; daughters, Hanna and Holly Malone, all of Weatherford, Heather Garcia and husband, Augustine, of San Antonio, and Haley Wilhoite of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Hunter, Hallie and Houston Melendez, and Cooper Roland, all of Weatherford, and Chloe, Simon and Citlali Garcia of San Antonio; mother, Marilyn Rankin of Fort Worth; sister, Mary Sanders of Poolville; brothers, Freddie Wilhoite of Fort Worth, Jimmy Wilhoite of Fort Worth, Jerry Wilhoite of Texas and David Wilhoite and wife, Sharon, of Arizona; and a host of loving family and friends.

Ellis Robert Ponthier, 60, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, January 31, 2014.
Memorial Service: 10:30 A.M. Monday in White's Azle Chapel.
Ellis was born April 2, 1953 in Big Springs to Ory Peter and Margaret Ann Ponthier. He married the love of his life, Norma Foster, March 31, 1995. Ellis honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, The Air Force Reserves and DCMA. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers.
Survivors: Loving wife, Norma Ponthier; children, Tara Ponthier of Azle, Kaylea Ponthier of Lake Worth, Nick Cage and wife, Kerry and Debra Dickinson and husband, Dustin; grandchildren, Leanne Hoadley, Logan Strawbridge, Logan Blair, Dillon Cage, Devon Dickinson and soon to arrive, Harper Dickinson; brother, Neilson Ponthier and wife, Kat; sister, Alicia Smith and husband, Doug; sister-in-law, Bonnie Ponthier.

Linda was born Jan. 24, 1948 in Dalhart to William and Pearl Mae McMurry. She married the love of her life, Ron Anderson, Feb. 27, 1969 in Dalhart.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Anderson of Azle; daughter, Cinda Sackett and husband, Danny of Amarillo; sons, Richard Anderson of Azle and Steven Anderson and wife, Bobbi of Arlington; grandchildren, Nick Sackett and wife, Lauryn, Janetta Sackett, Lucas Anderson, Rylee Anderson, Aidan Anderson and Levi Sackett; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Sackett and Noah Sackett; siblings, Billy McMurry, Patsy Vinson, and Blenda Pate; and a host of loving friends.
