Cindy Louise Lewis, 57, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
Memorial service is set for 4 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at Aledo Christian Center, 241 N. Front St., Aledo, 76008.
Mrs. Lewis was born March 8, 1957, in Muskegon, Mich. to Louise Nadeau and Donald Severson. She lived in Kentucky before moving to California.
After graduating from Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, Calif. in 1975, she moved to Boulder, Colo., where she raised her son and daughter and two stepchildren. For many years she ran her own day care, nurturing and loving every child trusted to her care as though they were her own. In recent years she was delighted to reconnect with many of those children who are raising their own children.
Lewis moved to Texas, and Nov. 6, 2010, she married Bob Lewis. They traveled extensively.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Lewis; son, Damion DiZinno; daughter, Cheri Muraski; step-daughters, Fleurie Grover and husband, Shawn, of Phoenix, Ariz., Ce'la Allgood and husband, Shawn, of Phoenix, Ariz., Amanda Kester and husband, Zack, of Monrovia, Ind., Allison Beary and husband, Daniel, of Nixa, Mo., and Andrea Lewis of Warr Acres, Okla.; mother, Louise Nadeau; father, Donald Severson and wife, Joan; brothers, Brett Severson, Brian Severson, and Erik Severson; sister Cheri Patton; grandchildren, Haley DiZinno, Shylo DiZinno, Ryan Muraski, Christian Muraski, Raydon Grover, Kellen Allgood, Ru'tah Kester, Aydynn Kester, Dawson Kester, Tait Kester, Hayden Beary, and Grenely Beary.
