Mr. Tomlin was born June 1, 1965. He was a Fort Worth native, born and raised, graduated Western Hills High School, "The EGGS of 1983." He attended Tartleton State University on an athletic scholarship. He met his wife Dora Tomlin by selling her a car at Steakly Chevrolet in 1991. They married Feb. 12, 1994, in Fort Worth at his older brother Tommy's house. In their 20 years of marriage they were blessed with a beautiful family of five. Terry was a man who always put his family first, he made it a priority to keep family traditions like Friday night football games, Saturday evening barbecues, Sunday morning golf and every summer taking a trip to Port Aransas. He loved watching the Cowboys every Sunday during football season and enjoyed hanging out by his pool with the family and dogs during weeknights. Terry worked in the auto industry for more than 30 years. He loved his wife very much, she sat by his side every day and night during his constant decade long battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Tomlin Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Tomlin; children, Tyler Wray Tomlin, Jessica Farley, Terry Wray Tomlin Jr., Joseph and Kara Farley, and Alexa Tomlin; mother, Peggy Bruce Tomlin; siblings, Tommy and Mary Tomlin, Tracy and Anne Tomlin, Tiffani Jimenez, and Sean and Jacque Knight; and eight nieces and nephews.
