Mrs. Eskew was born Aug. 5, 1932 in Marietta, Okla. to Roy and Dorothy Andrews. She and her family moved to Texas during her childhood where she attended Trimble Tech High School. There, she met the love of her life, Bill E. Eskew. After Norma and Bill graduated high school, they married in January 1951. Bill joined the U.S. Marine Corps and Norma followed him wherever he was stationed. They had two children and moved to Aledo in 1966.
Norma liked being outdoors, working in her yard, and cooking. She also enjoyed taking family trips to the ocean. But what she loved most was being surrounded by her family. Her family was her life and she loved them with all of her heart. She will be greatly missed.
Eskew was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Houston Andrews and Dorothy Hinton Tines Andrews; husband of 56 years, Bill E. Eskew; granddaughters, Amy Lou Carroll and Rachael Ann Eskew; and sister, Dorothy Jean Duncan.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Eskew Wiley and husband, Jimmie Joe; son, Brinkley Earl Eskew, all of Aledo; brother, Roy T. Andrews and wife, Sherry, of Aledo; sisters, Carolyn K. Richeson and husband, Jimmy, of Benbrook, and Judy A. Wright and husband, Tom, of Marietta, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
