Margie Brown, 89, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, in Fort Worth.
Memorial service is set for 1 p.m. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Margie Lou Brown was born July 26, 1924, in Blum, one of 13 children born to the late Lindsay and Nellie McBee Roberts. She attended grade school in Blum and then moved to Fort Worth and finished school there. Margie was a loving mother and grandmother with an amazing spirit. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and had a great love of her Lord. Margie was also very patriotic and always supported those who defend our freedom.
Survivors include a son, Bill R. Moore of Weatherford; daughters, Myrlene Hughs and husband, Ricky, of Granbury and Jeannell Olson and husband, Mickey, of Weatherford; sister, Jean Skinner of Euless; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
