Eric Tyler Willoughby, 18, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18 at First Baptist Church of Aledo, 128 Elm St., Aledo 76008. Burial will be in Aledo/Brown Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial donations to First Baptist Church of Aledo.
Eric was born June 30, 1995 in Fort Worth. He loved watching all sports, especially the Rangers and Cowboys. Eric enjoyed music, singing, and playing his X-Box. But most of all he loved hanging out with his friends. Eric was presented with a special accomplishment as the First Graduate of 2014 Aledo High School.
Survivors include his parents, Kelly and Tara Willoughby; sister, Kristen Marish and husband, Taylor of Fort Worth; brother, Phillip Willoughby of Aledo; grandparents, Carey and Larry Billups of Watauga, James Ransberger and Bui Batchler of Watauga, and Linda Ransberger of Fort Worth; uncle, Michael Willoughby and wife, Margaret; aunt, Colleen Seaman and husband, Brad; uncles, Derek Ransberger and David Ransberger; cousins, Carly, Michelle, Chris and Karyan; and many close friends, some of which were like brothers.
