Lottie Briggs Hatch
Lottie was born in The Island of Vavau, Kingdom of Tonga, to Alvina Elsie Sanft and Henry Briggs on Nov. 19, 1943, and immigrated to New Zealand in 1947 and then to Salt Lake in 1960. She had resided in Weatherford for 27 years. Lottie worked many years building houses, but loved cooking for the family she adored so much. Everyone loved Lottie because she had a kind, generous and loving spirit.
Survivors: Her mother, April Cooper of Wellsville, Utah; and her children, Gordon and Karen Hatch of Bedford, Hollis and Karen Hatch of Fayetteville, Ark., and Kim Hatch of Weatherford. She had eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her siblings, Alvina Berry, Bonnie Cearley and Richard Berry; and Auntie Ramona Walters and Uncle Richard Sanft.
