Ada "Jean" Hemmingway Grimes

Jean was born November 3, 1946, one of nine children, to Roy and Ora Turner Hemmingway in Mount Pleasant, Indiana. She met and married the love of her life, Bill, on July 3, 1964 and they began their lives together, raising three precious daughters. Jean was a long time resident of Azle. She was an avid bass fisherman and loved her family and her roses.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Bill Grimes; daughters, Barbara Cobb of Greenville, Sondra Negrete and Elton Gamage, of Azle and Lorrie Grimes of Arlington; six grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Dawson, Calvin, Savannah and Erika; one great-grandchild; one sister; three brothers; and Dobie "Fuzzy Face", long time companion.
