Walter Franklin Watkins

Walter Franklin Watkins was born June 10, 1919 in Hamilton.

Walter moved to Dallas for work after high school. There he met Geraldine, his wife of 50 years, who served by his side in their church and community. Walter was a plumber/pipefitter by trade.

Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine, and daughter, Lynn.

Survivors include his sister, Louise Peterson of Dallas; son, Mike Watkins and wife Lanelle of Garland; son, Scott Watkins and wife Regina of Willow Park; 4 grandchildren, Todd Watkins and wife, Janie, Russell Watkins and wife, Dawn, Kendall Watkins and Tressa Watkins; and 4 great-grandchildren, Kylie Garretson, Finley Watkins, Tyler Watkins, and Sawyer Watkins.
