Joyce Dugan Phillips

Joyce was born February 19, 1923 in Wichita Falls to Clarence Thomas Dugan and Zula Mae Bohannon Dugan. Her family moved to Parker County, and on June 8, 1941 she married James Orville Phillips. Over the next 50 years, they lived in the Parker and Tarrant County areas. She later married Edwin Williams in October of 1995. Joyce has been a member of Highway Church of Christ since 1941.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Zula Mae Dugan; three brothers, Lee Roy, Bob and Tom Dugan; husband of 53 years, Orville Phillips passed away in 1994; second husband, Edwin Williams passed away in 2001.

She is survived by two children, Cate (Cathy) Wharton and husband, Michael and Tim Phillips and wife, Dearla, all of Weatherford; one sister, Margaret Huett and husband, Jim, of Allen; two sisters in law, Mary Fox and husband, Jim and Eula Mae Phillips, of Weatherford; five grandchildren, Lukus Brackeen and wife, Emily Hadsell, of Brock, Calla Daniels and husband, Chris, Trevor Brackeen, Dakota Phillips and Devin Phillips, all of Weatherford; two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Hudson Daniels, also of Weatherford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
