Game four was a nip-and-tuck affair that was tied at 20-20, 21-21 and 22-22. A kill by Jacobs in the middle off a short set by Powell gave the Ladycats a 23-22 lead.
However, on the ensuing rally, Aledo committed a service error and the game was tied again, this time at 23-23. On the following rally, Powell again went back to Jacobs in the middle, and the senior slammed a kill to bring game four to match point.
Baird stepped to the service line and fired a topspin ace to seal game four and the match, and keep the Ladycats undefeated and in control of the District 5-4A lead.
