Vincent Wade HensonVincent Wade HensonVincent Wade Henson, 78, beloved hero, died September 27, 2010.
Vincent was born June 25, 1932 in Mount Vernon, Alabama. He served in the US Army, serving his country honorably during the Korean War, before earning his electrical engineering degree from Mississippi State University. He retired from Lockheed after 36 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising cattle and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bina Henson; siblings Patricia Howell and Thomas B. Henson of Hawthorne, Alabama, and Dr. Edmund Henson of Mobile, Alabama; his children, Rebecca, Robert and Elaine Henson of Weatherford, Tim and Tay Henson of Wichita, Kansas, and David and Sarah Henson of Austin; and many nieces, nephews, grand and great grandchildren.
Services: 2:00 pm Thursday at White's Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 Wednesday at the funeral home.    
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
