It will be a busy night for Willow Park government officials as three meetings are scheduled for this evening.
The city's planning and zoning commission has a special meeting tonight at 6 p.m. in the chambers of city hall and the city council will have a workshop and special meeting at the multipurpose room of the Willow Park police station and fire house. The workshop begins at 7 p.m. and the city council meeting is slated to begin immediately afterwards.
Agenda items for the special city council meeting include the city's pay period policy. Council may change pay periods to the first and 15th of each month. They will also have discussion and/or action on Willow Crossings East or infrastructure projects and consider having one engineering firm be responsible for reviewing the work another.
The executive session agenda for the city council will once again deal with personnel matters. The council is expected to review staff reductions and discuss personnel performance for the fourth consecutive week. Even though there has been no action taken on the executive session discussions, there is speculation that the council may make a decision tonight in executive session in regards to City Administrator Candy Scott in the absence of Mayor Pro-tem Hale Alderman who is on vacation.
