A prelude to Patriots Day and in recognition of all who give back to the community day in and day out, Aledo singer and songwriter John Tracy will host a free acoustic concert at Chandor Gardens tonight, (Friday, September 10) at 5:30 pm.
The fun and fellowship will kick off at 5:30, and Tracy's performance begins at 6 pm. Guests are welcome to bring food and drinks and enjoy a picnic in the garden as they take pleasure in a relaxing evening. Mark Thorne, Fort Worth Police Department Chaplain, will deliver an inspirational message and a yellow ribbon ceremony will follow.
“This is simply a thank you to those called to the duty of public service and for their dedication. For many of them, it's more than just an occupation. It's a calling on their lives - something they would do no matter what. They deserve to be respected and recognized for all the sacrifices involved with their line of work,” Tracy said.
