Social media focus for WBA

February 11, 2014 by Phil Major

Event Date:
Fri, 03/07/2014 - 11:30am

East Parker County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Women’s Business Alliance luncheon. The purpose of the WBA is to provide business women professionals with resources and activities that foster personal development and growth in the East Parker County Business Community and beyond. The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 7 at Tucker Red’s restaurant at 4971 East I-20 Service Road North, Willow Park.
With the explosion of social networking, there is now a way to break down physical barriers which once hindered communication and limited opportunities. Gain the insight to position yourself and create opportunities to better serve you in your career and life.
Join speaker Lisa Graves as she presents the many benefits of social media in reaching millions of people. Graves will highlight the communication fundamentals of the diverse social media sites. Graves is a retired Air Force veteran and business entrepreneur. Her social media company, MLJS Legacy, was created one year ago as a derivative of Facebook marketing for her direct sales business.
“I want to be a local resource to help business owners create an online presence with a defined strategy to leverage brand image, connect, retain, and build new customers,” said Graves.
Register online at www.eastparkerchamber.com for the luncheon, $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Call the chamber office at 817-441-7844 for more information.
