Wilburn Howard "Coley" Coleman, 76, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died Thursday, September 2, 2010, with his family at his side.
Wilburn was born August 14, 1934 in Springtown to Howard and Gladys Morrow Coleman. He graduated from Springtown High School where he was an all-star basketball player, then he attended Weatherford College for two years. On November 4, 1955, Wilburn married the love of his life, Melba Oxford, and they began their life together.
Wilburn was an avid hunter, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. Wilburn was employed by Lockheed-Martin for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Melba Oxford Coleman; one son, Mark Alan Coleman and wife, Kristy; grandson, Rusty; granddaughter, Mishelle Hatton and husband, Duke; and a great-grandson, Jaxon; several cousins; sister-in-law, Mollie Jennings; niece, Donna; nephew, Jim; and many wonderful friends and loved ones.
Funeral:  10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 7th at White's Funeral Home
Chapel, 401 N. Main St., Springtown
Interment:  Springtown Cemetery
Visitation:  6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home
