Sheriff’s Investigators Continue to Seek Bank Robber
Parker County Sheriff’s investigators and deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a male suspect who robbed a Millsap bank Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at gunpoint.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said the unidentified male entered the First National Bank of Santo in the 100 block of Fannin Street, with a note and pointed a shotgun at the teller, demanding cash around 2:30 p.m.
The suspect got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as 5-foot 10-inches to 5-foot 11 inches, with dark blond or strawberry-colored hair, wearing a ball cap, dark glasses and weighing approximately 220 to 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue and white striped shirt, blue jeans and boots.
Sheriff’s investigators said witnesses reported the suspect was wearing a wrap-type bandage over his right forearm during the incident. Investigators believe the suspect could have possibly been trying to conceal a tattoo or scar in an attempt to keep him from being identified.
“Our investigators are diligently working on the case,” Sheriff Fowler said. “We would like the public’s help by looking at the suspect photos. We’re hoping someone will identify him and call our Criminal Investigations Division.”
Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at 817-594-8845 or the Parker County Crime Stoppers hotline at 817-599-5555. Up to a $1,000 reward will be paid for any tips and/or information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspect(s) involved in this crime. You may remain anonymous.
