Senior Circle and Volunteer Open House

October 2, 2013 by Jennifer Retter

Event Date:
Thu, 10/17/2013 - 9:00am - 1:00pm

Weatherford Regional Medical Center will host a Senior Circle and Volunteer Open House from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Senior Circle office located across Anderson Street from the hospital.
The event is open to adult men and women interested in learning more about the hospital volunteer program, as well as the many benefits of joining Senior Circle. Hospital representatives will be on hand to answer questions, provide tours, and sign up interested attendees. Light refreshments will be provided. Any current Senior Circle members or Volunteers who bring a friend will be entered to win door prizes.
To become a hospital volunteer, a person must be able to volunteer at least four hours each week and meet other requirements. Men, women, college students, parents, grandparents, and retirees are all welcome to volunteer. WRMC also offers a junior volunteer program in the summer for teenagers.
Senior Circle membership is open to adult men and women ages 50 and up. Membership costs $15 per year and members get access to day and overnight trips, exercise classes, game days, lunch and learns, a dining club, national and local discounts, and much more. Monthly calendars are set with a wide variety of activities for members. Senior Circle allows members to have fun, make new friends, and maintain an active lifestyle.
Call 817-599-1672 for more information or log onto www.WeatherfordRegional.com to learn more information about both programs.
