Pasture recovery from drought, soil fertility, weed management options, stocking rates and watershed quality will be the major topics discussed at the upcoming Pasture Management Seminar to be presented at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, at the Parker County Agricultural Services Center meeting room, 604 North Main in Weatherford. Cost for the program is $10 per person.
Dr. Larry Redmon, State Extension Forage Specialist from College Station, will present and answer questions that participants may have.
For those livestock producers with a pesticide applicator license, 1 CEU will be offered toward their re-certification.
Hosted by the Parker County Extension Ag. Committee and the Parker County office of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, all interested livestock raisers are invited to attend.
